I could use your help in answering this week's trivia questions.
1.Who wrote the good parts version of S. Morgenstein’s classic tale of true love and high adventure? 2.What corporate logo character was designed by Sid and Marty Krofft the guys behind Pufnstuff? You see them all the time on TV 3.What current pop star has the same name as the legendary witch of Carthage?
2. I can tell you it is not Ronald McDonald. That answer was rejected when someone called in with that answer. Read carefully the question. They said at the end of the question "you see THEM all the time on TV"

I am not offering answers, but I would point out that sometimes questioners use 'them' to avoid using he or she, thus not divulging whether the person is male of female.

It is no McDonald's character at all. In fact, the Kroffts sued McDonalds and won. There were connections though-former Krofft employees were hired to design the characters, and their "voice-talent" was hired for the funny voice-overs. The Kroffts themselves had nothing to do with it, however. This link describes the case:
They did apparently design the Kool-Aid mascot, as well as the Atlanta Falcons' (American Football) mascot, and the Houston Astros (Baseball) mascot. See:

I'm reasonably sure that the answer that they are looking for is the Kool-Aid mascot. He's by far the most prominent corporate character that the Kroffts designed.
