First of all let me say I am not obsessed with a celebrity. Usually that kind of thing can lead some people to get out of whack and end up in Jail!
Also let me say I find it disturbing for a young girl such as yourself to be using words like sexy etc about a MAN who is 57 years old! I think it is unhealthy. Surely there must be other interests in your life like friends and school and maybe a outdoor sport of some kind?
I think you need a Teen orientated chat site to talk to your peers about this. Not a adult site where I doubt there will be alot of adults replying to this thread.
That's just my opinion.

I'm a poet(sorta) and poets make up words to rhyme with whatever, they have their own language practically, such as morgle, and shmirmy--my own words, you shmirmy morgle!
I didn't mean you had to be absolutly OBSESSED, I just meant, whos yout favorite celebrity, you can't tell me that having a favorite celebrity is unhealthy.
So what if hes 57 . . . fine, he WAS sexy, happy now?

Having a favourite celebrity is entirely different from talking non-stop about a person. People here know my favourite TV show is "Voyager", but I don't say so in just about every single post.

Moosey there is no need to be rude. I don't think that you will find that poets make up words to suit themselves, they normally have a good command of the language in which they write their poetry.
You have said that you have little of interest in your life barring this Tim Curry and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, the members here are trying to assist you in enriching your life.

I know what you mean by OBSESSITY. You don't have to be a luny to like a celebrity. So, to get on with the subject of the post, I'll say my favorite celebrity is Heath Ledger. He is extremely talented, (although I haven't seen him in that many films) and he is very good looking.
thank you!! finally!! someone who understands!!! *hugs*

your the first one to actually answer my question, it's not that hard people, just tell me your favorite celebrity, you don't even have to say why. it can be a musician, actor/actress, president, or anyone thats the slightest bit famous

Very well, I'd have to say that I like the actor Nicolas Cage. I have quite a few DVD's of his movies. He can be very funny or very serious; a good actor.

Moosey, is it really so incredibly hard to use proper capitalization and spelling? If you'd only try, you'd be halfway there...!

I'm sorry. I didn't know it was such a big deal. I'm not used to having to type 'correctly' on a site such as this.

It's just that it makes it easier to read; remember not everybody at this site has English as their first language. It's akin to using capitalization all the time; you don't want people to think you're shouting. Others have been reminded of this in the past as well, you're not the only one.

My favourite actor/celebrity is Gregory Peck. He was a fantastic actor, a very talented but humble man. He never let Hollywood go to his head.
Gregory Peck, in his role as Atticus Finch in "To Kill A Mockingbird" (my favourite movie) was chosen by the AFI as the number 1 screen hero of all time.
He earned many achievement awards and awards for his humanitarian work, but you don't tend to hear much about them because he was a very modest man.

Edward Norton is one of my favourite actors, I think he's great! Fight Club and American History X are two of my favourite movies that he's acted in. But, my big 'obsession' is Chris Cornell, I love just about everything he has done musically. Never seen him live though, I shall have to rectify that problem when he tours again with Audioslave.

My favorite singer/musician would have to be George Michael. Yes yes you can laugh all you want, but I've had a "crush" on him since the 4th grade, and now that it is nearly 20 years later I still look forward to hearing his songs. He supposedly has a new album coming out next year, for which I will be happy.

I'm not really obsessed with anyone right now... I don't have a favourite actor/singer/whatever. I have a lot of actors that are my 'favourites' but no one that's THE favourite. I guess I'm that way with friends, I don't have a best friend, but I have a lot of friends who are my 'best' friend..

Did I mention my interest in Jon Tickle, the physicist and only person to return to big brother UK after eviction? Oh yes, I think I have, but since you asked... Apart from him, who was like the brother I never had, there was no single hero/heroine, but I've always liked everything Woody Allen did (except some of his first films), and the British comedian and writer Ben Elton is one of the best stand-ups ever, though he got tired of it and says he's given up. But the (totally spontaneous) quotes of Jon Tickle ought to join Shakespeare and Dr Johnson, he can't help coming out with them and are quite peculiar to his own mentality. There is even a range of merchandise (strangely enough from the USA who never saw the man...) with one of his classics from eviction night: I will add the speakers to clarify. Big Brother: The next housemate to be evicted is... Jon: Massive pause Big Brother (after an incredibly long pause): Jon Jon: Thought so In itself, this is banal, but in context and knowing Jon, it has become a classic, printed on mugs and T shirts. Very few people get a chance to be entertaining on TV just by being themselves. Apart from someone like Billy Connolly who claims to improvise, take away the script and most comedians are pretty ordinary. Not so the Tickle. I have now got that out of my system and promise to do my best NOT to mention him again. Tim Curry.
