Did anybody watch 'World Idol'? I thought it was pretty interesting. Kelly and Kurt were close the whole time. What do you think?

Most of them were good singers but I rather suspect that if Kurt hadn't looked like a 'hobbit' as was said, he wouldn't have won. Kelly was an excellent singer and might well have been the winner if Kurt looked more like a conventional star, but I really wanted Will to win, then I would as I have bought his CDs and he is British.

Australia had high hopes for the "'fro", guy sebastian, but i think his choice of song was poor. It was a two horse race Kurt and Kelly in truth, for first at least. Definetly a two horse race between Germany and Pan-Arab countries for last.

I think Kurt was really good! I don't know if his winning has something to do with his looks, but that seems to be some kind of "Idol law". In the German Idol show a lot of emphasis was put on the performance on stage rather than just standing there singing a song. That explains why German Alexander was the only one who was dancing and jumping around like crazy. Just what he'd been thaught.
The Dutch Idol ended in last place if I remember correctly, no wonder. He was the best in our country, but his voice wasn't nearly as good as those of some others.

I was quite happy that Kurt won the contest. Of course we could debate whether his victory was because of or despite his looks, but I think you all will agree that he has an amazing voice and his performance was really good. And that is the only thing that should matter.
Plus: if you take a look at the other pop/ rock stars out there, there are some that are quite ugly but successful. And hobbits aren´t really that ugly, are they?

Of course Norwegian as i am,i was thrilled when Kurt won World Idol! With the singing talent he has,he really deserved the victory I heard he's gonna release his album(which he already did in Norway a long time ago) in Germany and many other countries in Europe.I wish him all the good luck he can get

Kelly should've won...all I'm going to say. I have other feelings on this, but I will not get into them.
