The new "Celebrity Mole" is on tonight on ABC. Fellow Moleites - are you ready?!

Ok, so here's the lineup to begin with:

Ahmad Rashad Host

Stephen Baldwin Player
Corbin Bernsen Player
Mark Curry Player
Angie Everhart Player
Tracey Gold Player
Ananda Lewis Player
Keshia Knight Pulliam Player
Dennis Rodman Player

Any predictions before the games begin? Who's going to be cut first? Who do you think is going to be the Mole? Who will win? Get your bets in now!

Dennis' strategy is listed as "play stupid." No comment!

oooooooooo.... I love the Mole!! I was shocked that the last celebrity mole was Fredericka. Never guessed it. I thought it was the kid.

I see a few returning celebrities, though. I'll have to get cable now so I can watch it!

I knew it was Fredricka last time. I had friends all tell me I was wrong, but I knew it was her. I figured the network would pick the model to be on the show as long as possible in order to keep the men watching. Predictable.

I don't like Stephen! He's such a jerk! So, I'm not crazy about his returning. However, I'm glad Corbin is coming back - he was good last time at trying to strategize and figure everyone out.

I wish Anderson would come back as the host. He was great!

Tonight's going to be fun!

I just read this on a Mole message board, and it got me to thinking. Could there be something to this???!

Quote:

Keishia - What better way to keep players from thinking about her as the mole than to have her be the last to be picked up. All the players in the Taxi have 75 minutes to start suspecting each other and trying to get each other to suspect each other while the Mole gets a free pass from suspicion on the first round.

Then, she sits close enough to Book 2 to be able to have such a good chance of snatching it.

Hmmmmmm...makes sense!

"The Mole" is, despite my better judgement, a totally guilty pleasure. I really like it . Having viewed the last few seasons of it I'm a little mad at myself since, if you watch closely, there are always hints in every episode. Darn it, I wish I would have taped this one since it seems nearly impossible to determine yet. BUT I did notice, at the beginning, that all of the players were picked up carrying luggage and such. Except Rodman. He was holding a basketball and I'm wondering if on that ball was a hint---but, alas, I wasn't paying proper attention. It can't be Bernsen or Baldwin (doesn't it seem like they're there to figure it out?). I didn't get it right the last time (I thought it was that young guy, too) so I'm probably following blind alleys. The "Cosby Kid" or the bizarre and tattoed athlete. My money's on one of the two of them.

And that Tracey Gold might have something up her sleeve, too . Miss "Low On The Radar"..... (shows like this could make you nuts! ).

Gats, I'm with you on its not being Corbin or Stephen, I think. Corbin is too "intense" (for lack of better word) and into the game. I don't know that he'd be able to be a Mole and keep up the kind of intensity that he has. It's hard to explain what I'm saying, but it's just something in him that doesn't seem "molish" to me. Of course, I could be wrong!

Did you see the Mole II (with the regular people in it)? The last night, they did a scramble of the letters in the opening credits. If you slowed it down (like with a VCR), you could read "Bill is the mole." It was deviously clever. And, there were tons of clues - they revealed all those the final night. There were really obscure things, but then some pretty obvious ones, too.

Strangely enough, Stephen isn't getting on my nerves quite as much as he did last time. However, there's still time! I'm sure he'll manage to become a jerk pretty soon!

I'm shocked that little Rudy went skinny-dipping! I'm with Mark - "The Cosby Show" is going to be kinda weird from now on!

I'm so glad to find other Mole fans! I agree that it's a guilty pleasure! It's one of the only reality shows I'll watch.

By the way, can someone explain the second game to me? Did Mark and Corbin know which one would be lying? Did they know what each other's item really was? If they knew who would be lying, the one who was telling the truth would automatically be out an exemption, so why would he go along with that?

And, besides the two of them, who else would have touched the items (one of the questions in the quiz)? Were they including the ones who might have touched a similar item the day before in a shop?

Ow, I envy you guys!! After three seasons of the Dutch The Mole they've taken a two-year break. No Mole hunting for me until 2005! I wish you happy hunting though!

The fact that Rodman made it through the first round leads me to suspect that he is the mole. He doesn't seem to have the intellectual power to sniff out the mole himself. However, it really could be anyone- after seeing the first three shows (during which I was proved wrong over and over again), I refuse to be surprised anymore. I will just remain the cynic who thinks anyone could be the mole (with a sneaking suspicion of Mark).

Darn it! I missed the last episode (how dare life step in and cause me to miss "Celebrity Mole 2" ?). Linda, I absolutely need to know why you mentioned Corbin. Did he get sent packing? Who did, if not him? I hope someone PMs me with the 'scoop'. I guess I could look all this up but it's more fun to hear it all from the folks here...

One of the challenges was that 3 of the people had to hit pinatas and try to get a box inside them. If they got the box, they got whatever was inside it (either money or an exemption). If they didn't get it, the person sitting inside the pinata (they were life-sized, and the other 4 people were in them and could manipulate them somewhat to keep them out of reach) got the box inside their pinata.

Corbin "knew" the exemption was in the pink pig pinata (controlled by Mark). He was convinced of it. When Stephen got that box, Corbin kept asking him to trade boxes. Stephen didn't. And, low and behold, the exemption WAS in that box!

Later, the group was given the opportunity to give one person in the group an exemption. But, they all had to agree on who it would be. If they gave it to someone, great. But, if they didn't all agree on someone to give it to, $25,000 was taken from the pot. There was a holdout between a couple of the people, and they lost the money. There was a blowup between Corbin and Angie. And, at one point, Corbin just laid into Keshia. It was like he went crazy for a moment!

He was doing his "normal" Corbin stuff of trying to find clues everywhere. He counted the number of candles on the table at supper and tried to mold that into a clue - like that there were 7 candles, so it was the person with Journal #7. Things like that.

Then, the execution phase came in. Ahmad typed in name by name, and they all came up green. Tracey was the 2nd to last person, so when her name came up green, Corbin knew it was him. So, he just stood up and started leaving.

It was so sad. I swear the man was almost crying. It was heart-wrenching to watch him hug everyone goodbye and leave. Ahmad said something about this being one of the hardest walks out that he's had to do (or something like that) and Corbin said that he wouldn't be taking it again. There won't be another Mole show for Corbin.

It was really hard to tell anything from the reactions from the other players to their names' turning green. They all seemed relieved (of course, we didn't get to see Stephen's reaction, since he was exempt this time). I didn't get any feeling of who it might be from their responses.

Hmmmmmm....the plot thickens!

I was in Nashville on a business trip this week, so I got to see this episode. I can't believe Corbin had to walk! I love having him on the show.

As for who do I think it is? well.. didn't get to see the first episode, so I haven't seen all the team dynamics and behaviors. Stephen is just weird enough that it might be him this time. I mean, come on, he can play dumb better than any of the women can!

Well, this latest episode of "The Mole" was a bit of a surprise (as usual ). That chicken chasing business left me a little lukewarm but the maze thing was interesting---and it gave me the only real hunch who The Mole might be. Either one of them completely botched the challenge on purpose or they are just very pitiful game players overall. I guess either could be true. I, for one, enjoyed the one who got the ax last night. I thought that exit remark was pretty good: "Goodbye, cruel Mole world..." .

I missed part of the maze (someone called me). What did you see that was telling? Clue me in on that part.

So, both Stephen and Corbin are gone. I was wondering if the producers would make one of them the Mole this time. Guess not!

It is s-o-o-o hard to really know anything yet, but my hunch was this: that Mark Curry either has the worst sense of direction on the planet or he bothched The Maze on purpose. Everybody else did reasonably well but he didn't seem to get left vs. right (and he IS a TV actor and such stages [l and r] are rather commonly used on sets of any kind). Seemed a little "mole-ish" to me but it was just a feeling I had. On the flip side of that coin Keshia did just a little TOO well gathering up that barnyard fowl which could have been a way to throw us off. Maybe chicken chasing is just a natural gift? Dunno . But she could have easily been given the means to memorize which sombrero had which number which attached to which bird (since all the chickens were mostly not of similiar size or color). Or maybe not .

Yes. I was disappointed. I wanted Angie to be cut. In any case, I really have no clue who the mole is now, as usual. Okay, I still think it is Mark, but now I don't think it is Mark... my thoughts are confused.

Mark was trying to be Molish last night. But, maybe that's a part of the plan??? Be so obvious and under everyone's noses that they don't suspect him? Could be a strategy.

Could it be Dennis. He's so weird that it could be him.

I'm with you - I'm totally confused now!

Keshia left.

One of the games was that the remaining players had to go across a bridge to retrieve bottles of tequila. As they went back and forth with the bottles, three "bad banditos" pelted them with balls. The three were the previously executed people! Cool to bring them back!

Then, they had to eat worms from the tequila. They made Ahmad a deal that one person could eat all of them and still get the money. Any guesses as to which one - Dennis, Tracey, Keshia, Mark or Angie ate them all with no problem?!

Then, they did a finger painting game. They didn't get any money on that one.

I'm not seeing clues, y'all. Are any of the rest of you seeing anything?

I am guessing Dennis ate them? And I missed it again tonight. I not only had to work, but I threw a bridal shower for one of our girls. So what happened?

Darn it---I missed the show again . Based on what I've read, and knowing now who got executed last night, the Mole just has to be Mark Curry. If I am correct there he was the worst Mole so far....it seemed too obvious. But we shall see...

Well, now we know who The Mole was. I, for one, didn't see that one coming at all (and all for the wrong reasons...I dumbly thought the producers wouldn't pull the same little trick twice in a row ). And the winner? Yikes. I guess it just validates that one should never judge a book by its cover. I also overlooked ALL of those "7" clues. I was too busy looking at basketballs and chickens and donkeys . It was a fun show this time around, though!
