Why didn't Thinktank's "Braving The Day" make it? This was #1 for me and spent at least 6 weeks in the Net50 top 5.

I must be living under a rock! I can't think of one of those songs I know and only a handful of the bands.

Asja1, maybe it couldn't beat out the songs that have acquired a following over the last few months...

(I wanted "Black Math" to win, and it didn't even make it in!)

Copago, don't worry... there were a lot of them that I hadn't heard to much of either...a lot of it was "Aussie hip hop" type-stuff which very rarley "does it" for me...

...but it's a good way to find new stuff...I'd never even heard the Placebo version of "Running up that hill" (the Kate Bush song) and I was prettyb impressed!

That's just great Tanzen. A thousand thanks.

While I knew a lot of the bands, three, that's THREE songs from the 100 best songs of the year that I knew with any half-arsed authority.. gawd.. am I perhaps... can't say it... gettin' ermm, *coughs for effect* past it?

2004 will see the triumphant return of Jim Croce Greatest Hits Volume 3, a new collaboration between Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet and.... Billy Joel will be back, mark my word on that!

Where's Bowie when I need saving?

There's only about 20 songs on the list that I would say I really liked...I've never been cool and I've never pretended to be cool...it's just not me...

...and if Billy Joel makes it into the Hottest 100 next year I will send you up a slab !
