I find Rob M entertaining too, but he's gotten so arrogant that I want him to go just so he'll learn a little humility.

And Barbara, I think he's more arrogant this time around! But then, I could be wrong! Hmmm, it's interesting that he's always got to have his "woman" like Sarah during season 4 and now Amber!

I feel Colby is in deep trouble though. Shii Ann obviously doesn't like him, Jerri wants revenge and Kathy feels intimidated that he didn't come straight to her to say he wanted Rich out. And Lex, what is he up to? Is Lex forming an alliance with the three females to vote Colby out? I would hate to see Colby go!

Nooo!!!! Colby must not go! He's too hot!

Well, I think I've made my opinion about Colby perfectly clear!

Well, it's been a week now so I feel freed up to comment again . Tonight's episode was revealing about the players in "All Star": Lex is a snake. Kathy is a crafty fence jumper. Jerri is completely delusional. Big Tom doesn't like champagne (which doesn't prevent him from guzzling it down). I'm not quite sure what Shii Ann is. Colby is generally sensible. Ethan is easily the nicest of the lot. And Boston Rob's golfing skills are marginal at best. Just to name a few. I won't reveal who got voted off for those who haven't seen the episode yet---only to say that I can't make up my mind as to whether it was the right decision to be made---but I can tell ya that nobody stripped down this week. Thank goodness for that.

I saw the episode last night and was in awe that the group bandied together and voted off the person they saw the most threatening. If that applies to Chapera than Boston Rob has gotta go! His playing style hasn't changed since his last appearance, including his outright arrogance.

I don't think that Lex is a snake any more than someone bluffing at poker is a snake. He's finally learned how to play the game.

I'm also going to disagree about Kathy...I think that Chapera pulled the wool over her eyes. They made her feel welcome and comfortable so she'd sing like a canary about the other tribe, and she did. They have no intention of pulling her in.

I meant most of what I wrote kinda tongue-in-cheek. It was like a light bulb went off in Lex's head last night, I agree. And Kathy did spill a lot but I didn't notice her gathering any information to take home to her tribe. Not that tribe loyalty is a realistic expectation on "Survivor" . The merge should happen soon and then it's every man/woman for themselves anyway. One last thing...I don't think had Kathy been at Tribal Council last night the end result would have been any different. In my last post I was quite serious about being baffled by Shii Ann. Her idea about being low under the radar is certainly in place (but it was fun to watch her have a snippy go at Jerri).

Still I'm very disappointed that Colby left. I sure hope the Mogo Mogo tribe will be able to win challenges without him. Colby rules!

Survivor was on a night early in the US. I won't reveal who left, but two things about the show I wonder. Should Lex have disclosed what he did? And Boston Rob has gotta go. His arrogance at first was okay, but now it is just grating. The peek into next weeks episode indicates a shake-up is in the works; I hate Rob loses his footing.

Darn it, darn it, darn it! I completely forgot that "Survivor" was on a day early . I had my VCR all set up for tonight. I guess I'd better go read cbs.com and find out what happened...

Oh, no! I knew that exit was forthcoming, though. This show offers some pretty bad "life lessons", if you think about it. Be nice, be humble, try hard, play fair and, oops, "see ya later". Be lazy and sneaky and let's us just give you a million bucks. Kinda scary .

Which makes the term "reality show" almost an oxymoron. I understand the necessity of voting off strong players as they may pose a threat to you in later days, but I would want to cut the chaff out as well. A lazy person like Jerri would drive me insane and bring morale down.

Any thoughts on who will get the boot tonight? Personally, immunity aside, I'd say that Lex, Rupert & Boston Rob better be careful---based on the way it has been going. There seems a flow of all the good players getting voted off as threats! Maybe Kathy should be on her best behavior as well. Just wondering who anyone else thinks might be in hot water tonight...

Sorry Gatsby, but Survivor was on Wednesday again. Don't worry, you didn't miss anything! It was just the typical recap episode they do every season. You know, they always promise tons of new footage, but there never is.

I really hope either Boston Rob, Lex, or Jerri goes. They're all annoying! This is the way that I look at it: most of my favorite people are gone anyway, and the majority of the players left are people I despise (with the exception of Kathy, Tom, and Rupert). Therefore, the chances of someone I don't like going are much greater than that of someone I like. Of course, this doesn't always work!

Oh yeah, and I'm sick of the whole Rob and Amber thing. If I wanted to watch two young attractive people do nothing but make out and fondle each other all day and all night, I'd tune into a soap opera. Not that soap operas aren't fun, I just don't feel that's the point of Survivor.

Well, that explains why I ended up having a basketball game on tape . And I agree Alien Goddess--->those retrospective shows are sheer drudgery (so thanks for letting me know I didn't miss anything ). I missed seeing the episode last week where the big Rob/Amber hook-up got rolling but I doubt that I'd find that very entertaining to watch, either [I'd be too distracted wondering how people on the island, who probably stink to high heaven, could get all lovey-dovey together]. But, then, didn't one of the tribes win soap in a reward challenge? Maybe that solved THAT little problem...

I totally agree Gatsby! I mean, when you're so filthy the dirt doesn't wash off completely, your hair is so dirty it's standing in clumps, there is facial hair and leg and armpit hair in abundance, and the stench of the castaways is so strong that it draws flies and other bugs, how on earth could anyone think of romance? Besides, it seems like it would be a really stupid move as Rob and Amber are alienating everyone else.

Finally, someone who deserved the boot got it tonight. The last few evicted ones made me think they'd go after Lex, since he is pretty good at this. This time "Survivor" is taking a rather interesting twist. It's kinda like "Romeo & Juliet" with a little "The Wrath Of Khan" thrown in! They're all running around afraid of getting Boston Rob fired up (let's not mess with his "Juliet", etc.). But, anyway, the one that got voted off tonight made pretty good sense to me. And that trivia quiz that came up about the past shows....Yikes!....I'd have gotten none of those right!

I couldn't believe Lex and the others let Boston Rob dictate who they were voting off! The guy already has an ego the size of Boston, let's enlarge it a little more.
So Rob would have been ticked, big whoop. They have been voting off "strong" players, won"t Rob be voted off after a merge? Do they actually believe the guy is going to help any of them, in the future?
The heat and humidity had to have been affecting their thinking processes. One thought though, they are collectively losers from previous Survivors, they really proved it last night.

I love when they showed clips from the next show. Rob and Amber making promises they can't keep. And how "Godfather-esque" can Rob get? I want him off so bad I can taste it.

My personal vote for the final 3? I hope to see Rupert, Lex and kathy make it to that point. Merge soon and vote off Rob.

That's so right. I don't know what Amber sees in him. He's quite funny at times - but when he goes drooling over her, he's crazy. News flash hon, you're next to go in my list.

Sorry, Copago. Just didn't want to ruin it for anybody . Jerri went away. And ONLY because Boston Rob made such a stink about Amber being kept on.

I think I'm the only one who has shown any interest in this who is behind the US but I put a spoiler in the title anyway.

Jerry. Hehe - I shall watch with a certain lightness of heart.

I am so utterly sick of Boston Rob! And I just couldn't understand the others saying, "Oh, we can't make Rob mad!" Why not?!! You know, the only reason certain people end up with power in this game is because other people let them have the power. He's just one person, after all!

I am another "Suvivor" fan, in fact it is about the only show I watch on TV. I will definetly watch the next session with even more glee if Jerry is going. Was so sad to see one of the nicest people gone (genuine and with ethics) in Ethan. I hope Rupus wins. Spoilers please - it adds more enjoyment!
