Well, the person who got voted off last night came as no surprise. Rupert has got to win that immunity necklace on Sunday's show. Otherwise he's the next to go. And Lex's facial expressions while sitting over on that jury continue to make me smile! If for no other reason I'll watch the finale just to hear what he has to say to the final two . And, AG, that IS a good idea for a show. That nice lady playing the ukelele and that bowling alley owner guy, to name only two---they came and went so quick! I'd hate to see that "Oh my heck" girl resurface, though...

I'm crossing my fingers, and legs and eyes and anything else for Rupert to win. Just never let me see Rob and Amber smooch again. They won cars, let them be happy with that. Should be interesting to see what everyone has to see from Lex, to Alicia, to Shii-Ann and the newest member voted off. That glare alone at Rob was worth 1,000 words.

We're both going to be pretzels, Sebastiancat! See the smug look on the "Robfather" when he got Rupert and Tom arguing, argh!
Oh, I loved the looks Amber got when she said she "could smell the money", bigger argh! The teaser for Sunday indicates that we're in for a big surprise, one can only hope what that will be.

AG, you could tell Burnett that the site has global fans giving three pages of opinions and kudos (white lies, but what the hay). Another idea, since your very eloquent, do up a letter that you can post here, we copy it verbatim and all send it off. The Survivor Uprising

Woo hoo! Sounds like a revolution to me!

I will quote Shii Ann here as I make a remark to the remaining contestants: Stupid people! Stupid, stupid people!!

The problem is, as it has with most previous Survivors, that you think “if Rob is in the last two, there’s NO WAY the jury will vote for him” They then come out and say “Well, I voted for him, because he played the best game”.

I know what you mean, Eraserhead, I hate when that happens. The person, that was voted off Thursday, was on Good Day yesterday. S/he said that "Rotten Rob"should not have said mean things about their family. As likeable as this person is, I wouldn't want them ticked at me. When asked if they were still friends today, with Rob, the answer was no.
Hope the surpise tomorrow isn't Amber winning, Rob proposing, and Amber accepting. As they used to say, in the 80's, "Gag me with a spoon!!"

Interesting how CBS is always advertising "the biggest surprise/shock ever!" and when we see it, it's like "That's it?"

Personally, I thought the ideas of splitting up a tribe and having one of the members of the losing tribe join the other tribe on the reward were flops. And so was the mixing up of the tribe members, which didn't happen except for Amber. Boo hoo.

O, ugh, where do I begin? At least it's over with now but I still can't really tell, overall, who won and who lost! I know who gets the check and all but it all got so weird last night. Tribal council was fun to watch, though, when the jury got to weigh in. Several questions:
...One of the final two was driven to tears after hearing the jury rant. Did anyone believe those tears for real?
...How could Cathy be so emotional in her speech and then vote the way she did?
...Was anyone else besides myself waiting for Big Tom to punch Boston Rob in the face?

The reunion show was just more "RobTV". I'm sure hordes of lawyers' ears perked up as that all unfolded. And as for the "shocking turn of events promised"...all I have to say is that there is and decent and loyal large guy with a beard and a skill when it comes to fishing.. We get to see another episode next week and let's hope he's the star of it. I'm trying hard not to give anything away here .

After Rupert got voted off the only thing worth watching was seeing the final 2 be raked over the coals and squirm just a bit. Do i believe those were real tears? Nope, crocodile tears at best. Their attitude seems to be, "I am in the final two and whatever you think of me doesn't matter".

Do you believe this is a game where friendships get checked in at the door? Do you think that the way you play is indicative of the type of person you are in real life? And what was up with Jerri?

I went on to CBS.com and have been voting for a loveable lug of a guy. Rob C's impassioned plea is actually very interesting as he promises to give half to Rupert. Hmmmm two people benefiting from the $1million. You also have a chance to vote for "Best Villain". "hottest guy/girl" etc.

Your so right, sebastiancat! And Gatsby, I hope you went to cbs.com and voted. Everyone should listen to the members give their reasons for why they should be given the money. The only one to show any class was Tina, she asked that the vote be given to whoever deserved to win, but not for herself. Rupert, as always, was pretty humble. Amber and Rob were true to form. I must say A+R brought back memories..... of Boris and Natasha
Sebastiancat, I think Tom and Rupert were the only ones who stayed true to their nature. Rupert had the unfortunate luck to hook up with Rob and his little dolly early in the game. As far as Jerri is concerned, I wouldn't want to be the most disliked member, but I'd keep in mind the fact that it is TV and not take myself so seriously. She has even bowed out of saying why she deserves to get the money. Her name does appear in the voting area, though.
I hope next season is better.
Just had a thought. Maybe the tribe members watched too many episodes of The Sapranos and that's why they kept Rob around. He does have the nickname the "Robfather", maybe they thought they'd wake up with a seahorse head in their bed roll, if they crossed him

I only watched a few of them, Rob C's was the most interesting. I have a friend who is voting for him on the basis of the tape and is offer to share the money. But Rupert definitely has my vote. No one has tugged at me the way he has.

I'll be interested to see where the next location is.

So now that Survivor is over, we'll have to have a replacement show. Anyone interested in "Amazing Race"? I have a friend who was really interested in auditioning for the show and thought they could get on because they have are a bi-racial couple (shes Irish Catholic, he's Asian-American). I just couldn't eat the gross things

Sebastiancat, did you watch Sue? Along with her makeover, she should have had some therapy. That woman is strange.
Will The Amazing Race be back on? My kids and I liked that show. They featured a lot of interesting places and it was fun watching how the people coped being in foreign countries. When the kids were unfamiliar with a country, we'd pull out the atlas and get a geography lesson. Too bad it is closed to Americans only, I'd love to whirl around the world

If anyone wants to complain about this season of Survivor to CBS, all you have to do is go to The CBS Website and go down the very bottom of the screen. At the bottom click on the link "Feedback" and follow the instructions on the pop-up screen. It's what I do!

Joni--Amazing Race will be back on in July. I can hardly wait. I like the exotic locales, and the very interesting quests. Last season was great with the rodeo clowns, and the digging for flags in manure, walking around sharks, breaking boards etc. It was wonderful.

And AlienG will do. I've used the website to support Amazing Race with feedback and will leave feedback about they abysmal season. Their was a rumor in Season 1 that the producers stepped in to prevent popular Rudy from being voted off. I wonder if they still do that to keep the game interesting, because if they did they failed miserably, and yet we all watched

Thanks AG, message sent off to CBS, asking for no more Boris and Natasha scenarios, if they can help it.
Sebastiancat, what will we do 'til July
I think we all continued to watch because of hope. Hope that Rob/Amber would be voted off.

Arrgggggggggg! Not a clue in there anywhere!

I'm not sure if I've missed the final or not, I rather suspect I have as it wasn't on last night and doesn't seem to appear for the week ahead. Damn damn damn. Have to rely on Television without pity - but feel free to PM me with the winner anyone.

Anyone?

I do hope that Rupert wins the million. Of course, I have been voting for him nonstop! However, with all the promotion of the "big twist", I did think it was a little bit weak (like everything else about this season). Here are some ideas I had for a "big twist". By the way, this does contain some spoilers, so if you haven't seen the finale yet, don't read!

1. Rob, so distraught by the jury's onslaught, decides to forfeit the win to Amber.

2. The jury simply refuses to vote (now THAT I would have loved to see!)

3. The jury is replaced with the people who were voted off before the jury was formed.

4. During the reunion, Jeff Probst announces that there will be no more "Survivor". At that point, after seeing Rob and Amber, I would've yelled, "Hooray!"

5. When Rob proposed to Amber, she said "No."

As for Rob proposing, that was the most contrived thing I have ever seen in my life. I don't know, I just don't like the idea of proposing in public. I think it should be more of a private moment. And what if the girl wants to say no? How do you do that in front of a bunch of people? But then, we all know that Rob and Amber just wanted the attention.

Anyone want to take bets on how long the marriage will last? Or if it will go through at all? Once the semester is over, I will write a very nice notice to CBS about the quality of this season!

Oooh good ideas. How about these:

The final two so distraught by their narcissism and meanness allows the jury to vote for any person they feel is the real All-Star.

Brawl occurs between Rob, Big Tom, Big Tom's son Bo and Lex. Lex loses an earring.

So the Tribal Council America aired last night in US and my favorite in the game got the credit. Did you agree with the choice? The choice of the "final four" that were in the running for the million?

Interesting preview of next season in the Ring of Fire. Will have to look at CBS.com in the near future to meet the soon to be survivors.

Finally Even Rotten Rob said that Rupert was America's favourite! Rupert did his best at whatever he was given to do and if he messed up, he admitted to it (the shelter fiasco comes to mind). Even when Jenna was driving him nuts, he stuck to his alliance.
Rob probably ended up in the final four due to the fact that he was on interview shows where he could tout his "ability" to play the game. Having him in the Sexiest Man list was a stretch, though. Ethan and Colby looked great right through to the end of their respective games. Rob was looking a little worse for wear by the end of his game.
Let's hope next season Survivor goes back to being the entertaining reality show that it used to be
