Ya gotta love the Hallmark Channel! They have run an ALL DAY "Little House on the Prairie" Marathon today!

It has been such a blessed relief to be spared any more of that stupid football game that's being played today (sorry, but I'm SICK AND TIRED of hearing about that game! )

They've shown the 90 minute episodes that we usually don't get to see (including "The Godsister" - one that every LH fan knows about but few have seen).

They've even shown the ones with Ray Bolger - you can imagine how excited I was to see those!!! My Scarecrow!!!

I am so thankful that the Hallmark Channel decided to run all these episodes. Did anyone else get to watch it, too?

I don't regret for a moment having watched one of the greatest SuperBowls of all time, but, as usual, I ignored all the endless pre-game features and would gladly have watched Little House episodes and taped those that ran opposite the game proper. However, a pet peeve, the expanded TV cable setup is inadequately covered in TV inserts in the paper or even in TV Guide, so I missed the Ingalls.

Michael Landon was a fine man with a great vision for that show. The characters were so unforgettably drawn. I particularly loved the earlier episodes. My young son is reading the great Laura Ingalls Wilder books in school. I'd love to show him the series the books inspired on TV

I wish I would have known that "Little House" was on then, I would have taped every episode shown. Imagine the quizzes I could have done!

Oh, DN, it was so wonderful! There are so many episodes that many LH fans have never seen. For some reason, they did several hour and a half episodes. Needless to say, these are not usually shown on reruns, because and hour and a half doesn't fit into the typical broadcast schedule. So, I finally got to see these.

And, they showed the episode where Manly couldn't walk and was in a wheelchair. I hadn't seen that one, so it was a treat to see it.

And, you can imagine how excited I was to see the Ray Bolger episodes!!!

Linda, next time there is a "Little House" marathon, you have to post it so we all know! I feel so cheated!
