Here is a little poser some friends and I came across in a recent quiz that might be of interest.

If 11, 19, 26, 47, 50, 51, 74, 79, 80, 82, are the only ones under 100 nominally related, then to which two letters does 51 refer in this context?.

The Great Brain Quiz gives this answer:

Sb (88) the symbol for antimony, element 51. A11 the numbers refer to elements whose names don't begin with the same letter as their symbol.

The accasional bits and pieces I post on "Challenges" are invariably "steals" from Great Brain Quiz to which I and some friends here in the UK are ardent competitors. Indeed one the most enthusiastic members of our team is a lady from Petaluma, California. The wonders of modern technology and communication???????.

In fact we reckon we have only to-day completed this months quiz although there are 10 days to go until submission. Then allowing a week for "turn a round" could have another "Challenge" in about three weeks time. No point in posting it now only to allow someone to "pinch" an answer?? :-)

They indeed have some tough questions. Before they post the answers, perhaps some of them should be shared on "I Need An Answer" forum to assist you out if possible! Or if anything, sharing the challenge to members that are not familiar with that quiz.
