GALILEE

In architecture a Galilee is a porch or waiting room, usually at the west end of an abbey church, where the monks collected on returning from processions, where bodies were laid previous to interment, and where women were allowed to see the monks to whom they were related, or to hear divine service. The name is also frequently applied to the porch of a church, as at Ely and Durham cathedrals.

India installs PCO on Siachen

HELD SRINAGAR: India said on Tuesday that it had installed the world's highest public telephone booth on the
20,000-foot Siachen Glacier. The Indian Defence Ministry said that soldiers fighting to keep the last post of
a disputed 720-km border can now phone home. ""For the soldiers posted in the hostile terrain and adverse climate
conditions of Siachen, this PCO is a big morale booster," it said.

I have learnt more about optical toys than I ever need to know From what I can gather Phnatamascope, Magic Disc, Kaliedorama , Kaliedascope are all the ones that you look into something (like the traditional tube of the Kaliedascope) and the Fantascope is something which projects the image onto a wall. (explanation here) All the other ones I found on various sites - hope it's right.

It should show, it does with me but here's the pertinent paragraph:

A Phenakistoscope is an optical toy. A Belgian named Joseph Plateau invented it in 1832. Plateau calls his invention the Phenakistiscope ('spindle viewer'), but it is also known under other names as: Fantascope, Phantamascope, Magic Disc or Kaleidorama.

In that same quiz there is another one that I would like someone to verify if possible:
In mathematics, which prefix refers to 10 to the power of -9?
Pico Femto Atto Nano
I have Femto, but am doubting it now...
Can anyone help? Thanks

Good thing you double checked-
definition for "nano"

(symbol n) is a SI prefix in the SI system of units denoting a factor of 10-9.

femto is 10-15 times this unit
