If you are a Archie fan, who do you think Archie would choose (when he grows older) among his two girlfriends, Betty and Veronica. I'm sure he has to make that decision someday, so let's have some fun debating about it !

I think he would choose Betty because she's much more homely and much more caring. Veronica is a bit too luxurious and I don't think Archie can really adjust with her.

Well, maybe he grows out of being an idealistic youth and goes for the money? But I'm with you Angi - Betty is much nicer.

(funniest thing ever was in an Archie comic - when Archie and Jughead are running away from Biff Bolson, anyone know the one I mean? And if you have a copy I will gladly buy it off you! )

My guess is that he'd skip on both of them, get a new haircut, and get hot and heavy with Reggie. . Just kidding----I think, because he's pretty much a goofball, he'd choose Veronica. Her gene pool is darker than Betty's so the kids would be less prone to sunburn and such. Good sense always prevails in Riverdale .

What about Cheryll Blossom? I think Archie has something going on with her. Whenever he sees her, he get's love sick, he can't look at any other girl when she is around.

But if we do not include Cheryll, I think he will choose Betty also. She can do things for Archie that Veronica can't. Veronica can't cook, can't help him with his homework, she doesn't like kids, and she likes to travel, where Archie likes to be home. Betty loves Archie (maybe a little too much! ) and I think they would make an excellent pair. Betty can give Archie love and food, and a bunch of kids, and a nice quiet home. No distractions such as Veronica's father, all of the butlers hanging around and most of all, she can show him love. She should know by now, since they were kids she fell head over heels for Archie.

It's nice to know there are plenty of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Midge, Moose, Jughead and friends lovers out there. Where I come from, nobody has even heard of Archie Andrews, or Betty Cooper. I enjoy talking about this!!

I like to read Archie comics myself, though I can't call myself a die-hard fan.

Anyway, I haven't really read many books about Archie, just 7-10, so I really don't know what he does when he sees Cheryll Blossom !

Well, Archie may choose Veronica, but would her father accept it ? The way he treates Archie, I think not !

Cheryl Blossom was a character in the books, I can recall that but, I never really saw any connection between her and Archie.

There was a special "Archie" comic entitled the "Love Showdown" which was between Betty, Veronica and Cheryl Blossom. (Actually, I'm pretty sure it was the only "Archie" comic where Cheryl featured for more than just one storyline.) Cheryl, for those of you who don't know her, is a gorgeous, vindictive redhead who goes to a rival school (and we all know Archie has a "thing" for redheads!)

I have no idea whom Archie would pick between Betty and Veronica, but if he has any sense at all (and this is Archie we're talking about...) he'd pick Betty.

I think he would select Betty. Long time since I read Archie's comics. I read them when I was around 14.

If Riverdale were a perfect and fair place Archie would choose Betty and stay with her. But since it's not...he'd probably marry Betty after Veronica goes off to Paris for a couple of years modeling or whatever it is she does. But then when Ronnie came back...he'd dump Betty,marry Ronnie,become miserable,and realize what a horrible mistake he made. But he's stuck 'cause Betty's come to her senses and refuses to take him back.....man, I'm cynical,and I have clearly put too much thought into this....

In a deleted scene from "Pulp Fiction", Tarantino has Uma Thurman videotape Travolta like a TV interview before they go out and one of the questions she asks him is "Who do you think Archie would [deleted] first, Betty or Veronica?" I think Travolta answered "Betty".

I would think the gang is past caring at this point. They were teenagers when I was just a little tike in elementary school. That would place them in their sixties and I have to think they are more interested in social security than social dating.

I would like to think that Archie would have the common sense to pick Betty. But knowing the typical man that he is he will go for the money!Ouch cynical me. Here's to hoping and holding thumbs for Betty and Archie!

if Archie would only use his common sense, he would probably choose Betty, if he won't use any sense at all and just follow his heart, i bet he'll go for Ron.

I say Veronica, hands down. No matter what she does to Archie, he still goes crazy over her. Many times he ditches Betty for Veronica so I say he'll choose her. He only likes Betty when he's having a rough time with his precious 'Ronnie'.
