I read in one of the Quizmaker Tune-ups that a quiz gets a difficulty rating after it's been played by at least ten people. But I've seen several quizzes that have been played either 10 or 11 times that don't have a difficulty rating yet. Is this a bug, or is the limit set at some other number? If so, what number?

I thought it was after 30 people had played it?

That has to do with the popularity rating of a quiz. A quiz gets that rating not after it's been played 30 times, but after it's been rated 30 times.

What I was talking about was the difficulty rating though.

Leau, if 10 people play a specific quiz, but do not bother to rate it, then it will not receive a dificulty rating.

Isn't the difficulty rating determined by the average score.It is the ranking, not the rating, that the quiz-takers get to decide on.

But in order to get the ranking and rating, the ones that play your quizzes or anyone's quizzes need to rate it.

If 30 people play a quiz, but only 2 rate it, it will take longer to acquire a rank/rating.

Example: my quiz All about Joe Cocker: 24 people have played it and rated it. It is considered difficult. But because 30 people have not played it, it does not get a percentage to list it as.

What I am saying is the 'difficult' rating is based on the scores of people taking the test. The rating is separate from people selecting if the quiz is 'good' 'poor' 'excellent' etc - that is the ranking not the rating.

I have a quiz that has been played 19 times. Therefore it isn't ranked as 30 people have not ranked it as 'good' 'poor' or hopefully 'excellent'. However it is rated because more than 10 people (registered people that is) have taken the quiz. It matters not if they rank it or not it is still given a rating based on the average score.

I think if a quiz has been played more than 10, 11, 12 times and isn't rated it might be because guests have played it some of those times. I am only guessing at this however.
