who was the youngest u.s. president elected?

I beleive Theodore Roosevelt was the youngest to assume the post at 42 years of age (one year younger than JFK) when he was inaugurated (but my book only goes up to Reagan.)

If you don't know how to do that please go to the COMPUTERS FORUM (or PM me) and ask (I can assure you you will be given step by step instructions without being made a fool of)

The questions are for a trivia contest and I have limited time on the computer at work.I didn't realize I could group the questions and they should be in the " I need an answer" thread.

I just had that one on a daily quiz here. Perhaps two days ago.

Of the 43 U.S. Presidents the oldest at inauguration was Ronald Reagan, age 69.
There are 5 former Presidents still alive.
