bjb, are these questions from a quiz? It might be more helpful if you'd put all of them together into one post instead of creating new threads for each. Thanks!

(Also, if these are things that you actually know the answer to, you'll want to post them in the Challenges forum. Just checking!)

Doesn't ring any bells with me Linda

I beleive Theodore Roosevelt was the youngest to assume the post at 42 years of age (one year younger than JFK) when he was inaugurated (but my book only goes up to Reagan.)
(Most references will disagree so CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!)!)

Rooseveldt b. Oct 27 1858 Inaugurated in 1901 (When Mckinley was assassinated! Not an election!! )

JFK is without doubt the youngest ever elected to be President.

bjb - a sequence of questions does imply a quiz - please just say "I'm doing this quiz for (whatever)" providing it's only an annual local quiz, we'll all try to help (that's what we are here for but please be honest. If it's from a Prize quiz I do get to know via PM's and E-mails and some Prize Quizzes are not allowed on the site and the question(s) will be deleted)

bjb - Ihave no idea how computer literate you are so please forgive me if I'm telling you something you already know:

All the answers you have requested can easily be found by typing a few key words into the Google search engine that I'm sure your computer is equipped with. If you don't know how to do that please go to the COMPUTERS FORUM (or PM me) and ask (I can assure you you will be given step by step instructions without being made a fool of)

The questions are for a trivia contest and I have limited time on the computer at work.I didn't realize I could group the questions and they should be in the " I need an answer" thread.

I just had that one on a daily quiz here. Perhaps two days ago.

Fosse4 has it right. Teddy Roosevelt, age 42 at his inauguration.
Of the 43 U.S. Presidents the oldest at inauguration was Ronald Reagan, age 69.
There are 5 former Presidents still alive.
