Two scheduled ODI (England v WI) and both rained off!
Jenson Button on Pole position only for Schumacher to win easily.
Local Soccer Team snatch relegation from survival (missed a penalty!) .

Forgot to ADD Congratulations to Norwich (on their promotion)

I have to disagree, Fosse...

St Kilda beat Kangaroos, to stay on top of the AFL ladder,
Roosters beat St George in NRL,
NSW beat ACT in Super 12s, and
Ozzz picked up a wooden spoon in the first round of the MLB...

Life is good!

ummm Ozz, you forgot about the Tigers wonderful display to crush Manly in the NRL.

How ironic that both your ODI's were washed out in the Carribean and not England, Fosse!

No, I didn't... just didn't think it was worth mentioning- it comes with a large 'ho-hum' factor.

I saw that Manly v Tigers game on Fox replay.. it was a pretty decent game to watch. That NSW fullback makes a big difference to the Tigers and they have some very aggresive forwards. I'd think they'll win quite a few this year. Manly as always, full of talent who don't want to pass the ball to the other talent.

Oh boy, Fosse, you can say that again- I'll add the worst of all for me- I managed to get to a screen showing the Conference play offs, only to see an idiot for Barnet stick his hand in the air at a corner and give away a penalty for nothing.
This meant extra time, penalties, and (having seen Barnet lose 4-1 on penalties to Brentford in the LDV cup on a cold night last year) the inevitable result.

This means I won't be able to see my local team in the league yet another year (I did manage 7 games the last year they were in it- maybe I had a premonotion?) and still see most of their games against league teams, but have nowhere else I can park outside, walk in and stand in the same place every time except the B's. After 5 years working on Saturdays I finally saw their first league game in 1996, and have been a few times a year since (as I like variety and ground hop as much as possible). But being tired of motorways and traffic jams, as well as the odd full ground at the end of it, I'd quite happily settle for Barnet alone in future.

The tiniest of possible compensations is the fact Aldershot made the final, as they were never relegated at all, they went bust, so really had no professional reason to drop, only financial. I can get there in about an hour plus, and no doubt will put in a few appearances there should they win the final, but Barnet, what a fiasco!
