Oh,if I'd only known! Apr 11 was 8 track tape day - my car has an 8 track player. I'd have jammed in my Foreigner and Dr Hook tapes, and blasted through town.

Not to be outdone, I'd like to nominate the following Australian holidays:
May 3: Swim with Box Jellyfish Day June 16: Trim the Lawn with a Pair of Nose Hair Scissors Day July 8: Squirt Lemon Juice in your Friends Eye Day August 15: Kiss a Redback Spider Day September 22: Hug a Humpback Whale Day October 10: Stare at the Wall Day November 37: Dig a Hole and Put a Bucket on Your Head Day December 5: Dip Your Head in a Vat of Balsamic Vinegar Day
Might catch on? Who knows, may even score another public holiday. If the Victorians can get a day off for a horse race, there's hope yet.
