I've been feeling recently that the website has too much cluttered and redundant information, links, and areas.

As such, I'm entirely tossing out the old "member's area". I have a feeling you'll all generally like the new look.

The goal is to really simplify the world.

Hi! I can still go to the old members area. There is a link from list/edit my quizzes. The new one looks neat and compact.

yep, I havent removed the members section yet in case the new one breaks
But soon it will go for good.

Terry the 'Who is online?' feature is missing.

just added it under stats

You can now also send a message to any player by clicking on their name.
Now that mailboxes appear on the homepage, we ought to get players who dont check into the members area that often reading their message / error notes a lot more frequently.

Terry, there is a blank space at the bottom right hand corner of the site. Is that meant to be like that or is it for any new feature. Plus , the cheating policy link is missing.

I think I'm going to add a second hourly game.

One that asks easy questions only. Sort of a "this game will make ANYONE feel good" type of trivia game

Where did the option go to search for quizzes by author? And by number of questions, for that matter? I can't find it anymore and I used it very often! Or is it still there, hidden away somewhere...?

Added back: now under gold member's "Special Searches" link. Now that I've got more room I'll be albe to add more search options too

Under "Read Me First" under quizzes. Not a hugely popular link so it has been hidden down a level.

The link to the forums is kind of buried. Could that be made a bit more prominent? I had to search for a while to find it, and it needs to be more accessible.

Actually, the forum link is much easier to find than it used to be. Before it was buried beneath the scroll of the page.

Maybe it's different on my page? On mine, it's buried.

Forum link should be on the right side, bottom right.

I guess it all depends what you mean by buried; the location where it was before (left column, scrolled way down) meant that only people who scrolled down could see it.

You should be able to see the forum link now without scrolling... although I suppose it does depend on what size your monitor is and what resolution you're using.

As the page is compact, all the links are clearly visible. They don't look buried to me.

The homepage is actually half as large as it used to be, so it ought to load a lot faster now than it used to.

I love this new format. The only thing is it took me forever to figure out how to get into the forums. I got it now though (obviously) and think this is much easier to navigate. Good job Terry and thanks for keeping the page running smoothly.
