Hope someone out there has one of these. Many years ago for a Christmas present I got this 3d puzzle.
When it's correctly assembled (lol) it's a framework of 10 wooden sticks connected with bits of string and these enclose a glass ball. The puzzle was to get the ball out of the frame and return the frame to it's original shape without cutting the strings or dismantling it.
Problem, one of the strings broke and it's now 10 pieces of wood with string attached plus a glass ball, which have lain untouched in a box in the attic (found whilst packing to move house!).
Can anyone direct me to a picture of the assembled puzzle or better still tell me what the puzzle is called. (fairly sure it's an ancient design).
I've exhausted my search engines to find anything similar.
Please someone put me out of my misery and let me get it back together again cos besides being a good puzzle it has a seperate stand and looks good on display..

MC thank you so much. Found a site with the solution and after three days head scratching (even with a diagram of how to do it!) It's BACK ON SHOW!

Now can anyone tell me how to stop people fiddling with it?
