Hmmm....I have three or four stations that I suppose I listen to more often than any others... Triple J in the morning - Adam and Wil are hilarious, and I tend to prefer, as far as "modern" music goes, a slightly more alternative flavour... Triple R - reputedly Triple J's cooler older brother...I just think they play more stuff I like Gold FM - Hmmm..."classic" rock...I think it goes from the 60s to the 80s...so basically it's a lot of the music I grew up with...great to sing along with.... Magic 693 - Should I be admitting to this?? I suppose if Triple R is Tiple J's older, cooler brother, than Magic 693 would be Gold FM's older, slightly more decrepit brother...it is mostly from the 50s to the 70s...because Gold just doesn't play enough Roy Orbison...

I listen to CBC Radio 1, which is our public broadcaster here in Canada. Most of the day is national programming, with a few hours thorughtout the day of local stuff. Lots of current affairs, arts, music (mostly Canadian) that you wouldn't hear on the commercial airwaves. All genres of music are played, but there isn't much emphasis on anything that might be termed "popular" (rock, rap,pop music). It's more of a venue for artists whose work wouldn't get on the air otherwise. I don't really like listening to music that I already know, I'd rather hear something new, so it suits me. I have found that after fifteen years of the CBC, I can't listen to commercial radio. The commercials, and the repetitiveness of the music, drive me batty. My truck only gets our local country station, so I am sometimes forced to listen to it. They'll play the same song three or four times in a day!

I'm a radio DJ by trade, so I tend to listen to whatever station I work for.
At present, I am not in the business, so I don't actively listen to the radio (outside work, that is). Of course, that may very well change in the near future...

I have XM satellite radio, which I love. I usually listen to the comedy channel, Fox News, CNN News, and many different types of rock stations (mainly alternative).

I'm a channel flicker. Whenever I'm listening to the radio on my stereo I'll have the remote with me. I can't stay on one station for too long because there's always bound to be a song I don't like, or ads for that matter. The stations I flick through are: *93.9 Bay FM *95.5 K-Rock *100.3 Nova *101.1 Mix FM *101.9 Fox FM *104.3 Gold Fm *105.1 Triple MMM *105.9 ABC Classic FM *107.5 Triple J
There are others pre-programmed as well but these are the main ones I listen to.

Good old Radio 2, except on sunday morning/afternoon when Michael Parkinson is on. I just cannot stand his choice of music. On Sunday at 2.00pm our local station, Radio Oxford plays three hours of Irish music ranging from the traditional to the nauseatingly sweet and sickly.

On FM radio, mostly classic rock stations. On internet radio, the ones that carry my show.

I listen to 95.7 The Rock (FM). Obviously that's rock, all rock. And Mix 96.7 (FM). That's a mix of different music.

Has to be Capital Fm, but I can only get that either on the internet or from the TV. Every now and again I will put on Radio 5 live, but thats only for the sport news.

I listen to Radio 1 in the mornings much to the annoyance of my collegue, but at 10.30am every weekday we tune in to BBC Radio Ulster and listen to Gerry Anderson because we always end up laughing our heads off at some of the things he talks about and people he talks to.

You've go to try 103.1 indie radio. DJ's include Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Henry Rollins, Rob Zombie, Danny Masterson (That 70's Show), Dicky Barrett (Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and The Crystal Method. You can listen live at: http://indie1031.fm/main.html

I listen to an online only station. It plays mostly modern rock, indie rock and real alternative music. They actually have two channels now. One is a vintage channel playing older modern rock, the other plays mostly newer stuff. It's www.woxy.com. Ssme sort of format as the station clipper mentioned.

I change stations periodically. Most of what I listen to is 80's music.
102.9 KDMX (this station is online)
103.7 KVIL (changed names after Christmas - now called Lite FM)
100.3 Jack FM (this station plays "what they want," and is available online)
97.5 K-Lake (now based closer)
