my computer seems to be sticking and playing the quizzes where time is of the essence it is a major problem,I have to wait 30 or more seconds before the information is submitted.It is driving me crazy.I also have to log in all the time and have lowered my security level but nothing seems to work.
please help me before I do something stupid

Do you carry out computer maintenance from time to time? The following may not provide a cure for the problem but it can make a difference. It's best to get the ABC things done when any trouble arises, then look further if necessary:

Delete the Temporary Internet Files. (After this has been done, regularly visited sites may be a little slow to load on your first visit back. They will be OK after that.)

Delete files in the Windows\Temp folder. (XP has two Temp folders. One in the Windows Directory and one under 'Documents and Settings\your name\Local Settings')

Delete Cookies. (You could try deleting only the FunTrivia cookie but I always just delete the lot from time to time. Sites that require passwords will need logging into again after deleting the Cookies.)

Scan for viruses. (Make sure virus definitions are up to date first.)

Scan for spyware. (Check for updates before running the program).

Check for updates with 'Windows Update'.

Defrag the hard drive.

tried that without success ,I don't understand why it is intermittent?

Slow server. Nothing you can do about it except endure or try a different time of day. That's been my experience, at least.
