I watched on the History Channel that he discovered why not to get involved with tribal disputes in the Phillipines. I've heard two different variants of the story from two sources. The funnier one I got from a college prof. Magellan's priest gathereed the heathens around. He showed them a cruxifix. The natives took this to mean the Spaniards will "bring painful death" so got rather upset. The History channel story is much more involved. _________________________ Fear leads to anger.
