My Cocker Spaniel 'sings' along whenever my son plays his clarinet. He knows he's not supposed to (it's REALLY loud) and you can see that he tries to control himself, but it's as if he just can't help it. We can't really tell if he likes the music, or hates it. Oddly, the flute gets no reaction from him at all. Do you have any pets who just can't help singing?

I have a cat who dislikes me hitting the high notes in Silent Night, he gets up and comes me and pokes his face at me. He ignores anything else that I sing, no reaction at all, just that one tune.

I used to have a cockatiel that would start whistling anytime he heard the music from the TV show "The X Files".

Our dog, Topper, sings along with the Final Jeopardy Theme. Nothing else sets him off, not even my son on his recorder. The boy hits notes that I was sure only dogs could here when he's "composing".

My cat hates when I whistle...he smacks me in the head if he's high enough up or bites me on the foot.

The harmonica on "Love Me Do" by the Beatles does it for my senior dog. When we discovered that he could sing, I bought a harmonica and learned one or two tunes. He sings along beautifully. I'm thinking of hiring us out for birthdays, weddings and Bar Mitzvahs. Any takers?
