Don't worry about it Frodo.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that the New Testament is anti-semetic. But it has been used as an excuse to persecute and murder Jews for centuries. Priests have taken textual prooves from it in order to show that the Jews killed Jesus and that his blood was on their hands forever. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one who thought that the movie was just rekindling an old hatred.

I will re-quote myself though to show that I think there have been positive results from this movie, and I never thought that the movie should have been censored.
"That being said, It made me mad when certain people tried to have this movie stopped. They claimed that the movies would lead to increased violence at Jews all over the world, but the opposite happened. Interfaith dioluges have been opened up, and the relationship between Jews and non-Jews grows closer, not farther apart."

I did not see the Passion of the Christ simply because I could not handle a movie like that. I am a Christian and I have Christian friends who thought I was nuts not to see it. Some of them even thought it was diabolic of me not to see it. I didn't care. I appreciate what Christ did for mankind, and I don't need to sit through hours of gore to do see. I believe it would make me physically sick.

That's why I didn't see it, although I was very interested in doing so. When I was in 8th grade, my Sunday School teachers (who were awesome, by the way), read to us what happened *medically* to the body and what (historically) happened during a crucifixion. It was so gory and disgusting that I couldn't listen to the entirety and ended up covering my ears.
