So I was sick of looking at about 30 different travel websites trying to find the cheapest airline ticket. Websites like Travelocity aren't able to search independent carriers like Southwest and Independence Air. I'd read about a program caled Side-Step that's an add-on for your browser like ieSpell, although it opens a window like opening the history window (at the left side of your browser).

I downloaded the program and it installed by itself. So I tried it out and it works great (granted, I didn't do anything fancy - just searched for a flight home). It searched and found Independence Air was the cheapest, ame thing I had found by going through all the websites. When you click on a flight, it takes you to that airline's website to make the purchase.

It's a free program (although there are popups when you go to the site to install the program - but they're 'internal' popups about the program or travel). You also do not need to give them your email address - although if you do, they'll send you travel deals.

Just thought some of you would like to hear about this!
