I tried to post this last night (my time) but it seems Funtrivia was down for a while.
I will run each game independant of the others this week and will award a point to each winner/s each round. We will see if anyone has more than one point by the end of the week.
Quote:
ROUND ONE
1) A species of cat that is native to Africa (excluding the domestic cat)
2) A child of Rose and Joe Kennedy snr
3) The name of an asteroid starting with X
4) One of the main quiz categories at Funtrivia
5) A state capital of the US that has a two-word name
I edited this soon after I posted it because I left out the word capital in the last question. I am hoping no-one read it before I changed it.

Hey Kuu, glad you're back!
I've sent you my answers, after you fixed the capitol problem.
And yes, funtrivia was down for a little bit...an hour or two..

Here are the results of Round 1. We had 13 entries.
Question 1 Cat of Africa
Worth 10 points Black foot cat, cheetah
Worth 5 points Lion (3), caracal (3), serval (2), sand cat (2)
We had one answer of Jaguar but it is a south American cat not African.
Question 2 - Kennedy child
Worth 10 points Edward, Robert
Worth 5 points Kathleen (3), Eunice (2), John (JFK) (2), Jean (2), Rosemary (2)
Question 3 I was only expecting asteroids from The Asteroid Belt here but three members looked elsewhere in the Solar System and their answers are correct. Next time I use asteroids I will know to be more specific.
Worth 10 points XR2, XN254, XF11, Xanthe, Xanthippe, Xosa
Worth 5 points Xiwanggongcheng (3), Xizang (3)
One person did not give an answer
Question 4 Main Category at Funtrivia
Worth 10 points Humanities, Hobbies, Animals, People, Religion
Worth 5 points Literature (2), Sports (2), For Children (2), Brain Teasers (2)
Question 5 State Capital with a two word name
Worth 10 points No entry
Worth 5 points Carson City (4), Little Rock, (3), Baton Rouge (2), Jefferson City (2)
Unfortunately we had one person who thought I meant a state capital of a state that had a two-word name and gave me the capital of Rhode Island. I had to mark this as an incorrect answer.
Another person said Los Angeles but the capital of California is Sacramento.
Scores and next rounds questions will be up soon.
