You may have seen these type of crossword puzzles in your local paper and wondered what they were. Each clue is a word game in itself by containing anagrams, hidden words, word plays etc...I will give you ten clues taken from the last couple of days crosswords and you come up with the word they are looking for. These will just be anagram clues. example: I dine different tea (3) would be "eat" anagram of tea to mean dine. The numbers after indicate number of letters in the word(s).

2. Fade out not wishing to hear (4)
3. A beastly example of what manila produces (6)
4. Use a lever differently to make disclosures (6)
5. Sad use of rare old fuel (7)
6. Any item can become a pleasant feature (7)
7. glean a girl taken out (6)
8. Go near mixed fruit (6)
9. Begin red tag test (3, 7)
10.Rate isn't adjusted for toy railway (5,3)

1) eats - a set
2) deaf - fade
3) animal - manila
4) reveal - a lever
5)
6) amenity - any item
7) angela - glean a

9) get started - red tag test
10)

5 and 10 stumped me.
