ozzz2002 Moderator Registered: Mon Dec 03 2001 Posts: 20912 Loc: Sydney NSW Australia	I recently got stumped by a question in an Hourly game which asked "Which of these universities is not an Ivy League college?". (I guessed, and guessed wrongly, hehe) Can anyone please tell me what 'Ivy League' actually means, and what are the admission criteria to this League? _________________________ The key to everything is patience. "Ivy League is the name generally applied to eight universities (Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Pennsylvania, Princeton, and Yale) that over the years have had common interests in scholarship as well as in athletics. Stanley Woodward, New York Herald Tribune sports writer, coined the phrase in the early thirties."
