What is this? It sits on the bottom bar next to the Start button and right-clicking on it doesn't produce anything, nor left-clicking for that matter. Windows XP Home version before you ask.

Well, it's pretty much what Leau said. I didn't understand much of it either! I have Windows 98, so it didn't apply, but just last nite I had bunches of trouble staying online, and one of the windows that opened to tell me I was going to get kicked off said, "Explorer caused an invalid pagefault in module GDI.EXE @ 0001:0000722C". Any help on figuring out what that was all about?

I went to find the gdi.exe, and results were: Windows Graphics Device Interface core comp, which had been on there since '99, so I guess it was just a freaky thing last nite.
