Has anyone read the 'Wheel of Time' series by Robert Jordan. Although the series(11 books long and counting) is quiet similiar to JRR Tolkien, the style of writing is unique and the plots are excellent.
I really would reccomend it as a great read especially for those who like books in the fantasy genre.

I have read and enjoyed the first eight or nine books in the Wheel of Time series. I ran out of steam after that, though I do have the others waiting for me when I am ready to read them. I have a friend who loves the whole series so much that he has read each book at least three times - he re-reads the entire series while waiting for the next book to come out!

I plan to read these books as soon as I have finished reading the books I have got on hold at the moment. My friend collects the whole series and she enjoys them.
