Are we seeing normal performances now from athletes who have previously been suspected of being drug induced,now that the media spotlight is on them.Will we see ordinary performances from current world champions and if anyone is caught using drugs,should they be banned for life or do you think that Ben Johnson should be reinstated into the world of athletics especially in the light that Carl Lewis was also charged with taking illegal substances.

Why on earth should a person have their punishment reduced or cancelled just because another person has been charged with the same offence? With that thinking we should let all criminals out of prison if another person commits a similar crime.

I think the problem is that they now are not getting punished and people like BJ did. And no, he should not be reinstated but these guys should get the 4 year ban and we do not want to see them in Athens! Recently when K. White got cought and her gold was passed on, the woman (sorry can't remember the name) said yes, but the point is to get it on the stadium, with all those people cheering. And they *knew* she was doped up even then but the US were fighting it. And even now, they are giving Marion and others a chance - of course they can't without the stimulants but still, they shouldn't even have the chance for it because as the lady said then - the point is that they shouldn't be the ones to stand on that podium and then the real winner gets the medal by post. Pathetic!

Ban them all! Clear the sport once and for all! Not just athletics, all of them.
