For about seven years I have had to scroll through hundreds of pages that I had collected in my favorites. Today it hit me[it takes a while sometimes] that I should try and tidy up my favorites a bit.
I clicked on the favorites tab then clicked on the organize [sic ] tab.
After clicking the create folder tab I named the new folder "Computer stuff". I did this 10 more times giving each new folder its suitable name [Fun Stuff, Literatature Stuff, Photgraphic Stuff etc] then dragged the saved favorite to its relevant folder.
It took me more than an hour to do but finally my favorites are organised. Well worth the effort as everything is now easy to find. The Assorted Stuff folder isn`t the largest btw. Now I believe I have to do the Firefox browser.

All you have to do now is remember what folder/category you moved that very important bookmark into (I often have that trouble).

Yes thats true tellywellies.
I have just tried to send my organised favorites to the Firefox browser by dragging. Sadly the Firebox sees them as some type of file and opens the,say Computer Stuff, favorites in the main browser window. Looks like I will have to do it the slow way again for that particular browser.

Open Firefox and try using the 'Import' option in the File Menu. That should do the job.

Worked like a breeze. Thanks tellywellies. Don`t tell me if there is a simple way to delete the doubled up favorites though thanks, I just deleted a couple of hundred the slow way.
