King Abdullah II of Jordan. His mother, Queen Muna, was born Antoinette'Toni' Gardiner. I accepted
British and English as her nationality.
Question 2a and 2bThe island is
Madasgascar (4 people got this right). One person said Taiwan, which does have a similar shape.
The capital is
Antananarivo (3 correct). One person said Antisiranana which is a city on the island, but not the capital.
Question 3a and 3bEveryone correctly identified the flag of
Uruguay. 5 people identified its neighbours as
Brazil and Argentina. One person misread the question and gave the capital.
Question 4a and 4bEveryone identified that this statue, 'The Little Mermaid", is located in
Copenhagen, Denmark. Every also got
Edvard Erichsen/Eriksen as its creator.
Question 5a and 5bOne person idenified the animal as a
Dingiso and got the 40 points. I gave 10 points to the person who identified it as a tree-kangaroo. A dingiso is only one of many species of tree-kangaroos. We had a couple of people who thought it was a koala. In the face it does look a bit like a koala nbut koalas are never black and white.
