Actress Fay Wray has died at 96. Though she made many films in her careers, she's best known for her role as Ann Darrow in the 1933 classic "King Kong". The year before "Kong" she starred in the early color thriller "Mystery of the Wax Museum". (The 1950's 3-D remake "House Of Wax" is a cult film.) And she also prepped for "Kong" in the first version of "The Most Dangerous Game", co-starring Joel McCrea and Leslie Banks. Among the many films she made in the 30's is "The Firebrand" with Frederic Marsh.

Au Revoir, Fay.

"Oh no, it wasn't the airplanes. It was Beauty killed the Beast." King Kong, last line.
