I know that there are Canucks here...so where are you??
I'm from Ontario and have been at Funtrivia for about a month now.
I'd love to meet anyone from the Great White North, or ANYWHERE for that matter!

*Waves*. Hello there. I'm also from Ontario. Born and bred here. I've been on FT for almost (Yes, almost ) a year now. Um..I haven't been out of the province, I've been up to London and Toronto though. I went to London to go to "Wally's World". I've been up to Toronto to see the "Science Center" and of course "Canada's Wonderland". I haven't traveled too much, but I'm getting there. Anywho, that's it for me really. Welcome to FT, above, below, and all around. Also welcome to the forums. You'll meet some interesting people, and some addicting forums.

hey there! Are you from Southern Ontario? I am an hour from London, and a couple from Toronto.
I just read your bio...WOW ! I'm a total vampire freak, but I can't claim THAT much of a love of it. Totally cool!
Stupid question...male or female?

Um..well let's just say there is some information that I would like to keep private. I'm from Ontario, that's as far as it goes. I really don't feel comfortable giving about my personal information. Anywho, I'm from all around Ontario let's say. Been around and about. Gone here, gone there.

Yuppers, that's who I am. What can I say? I have a love for it.

LOL! I'm sorry. It's not that I am trying to snoop, it's just that when you 'meet' someone on the web that is close to where you live, it kinda blows my mind, that's all.
Anyhow, that is so cool about the vampire stuff. I'm reading a book now, called Lilith's Dream that I find pretty interesting. I dunno what the whole vampire lifestyle is like, but it's such a cool idea.

Okie Doke, no problem there.

It's a very fascinating lifestyle. People tend not to believe in vampires, that they do really exist. I just tend to find my own path, and forget all of those people who find me 'non-existant'. Anywho, it's all well and good. I would post more about who I am, but I tend to freak people out, and people stay away from me and consider me a "freak" or a "wierdo". Neh, it's their loss, my gain. It's quite fun. Oh, I forgot to add, I went up to Toronto just a while ago for a 'get-together' from a website with a bunch of people, goths/vampires. You name it, they were there. It's all quite interesting, and fascintating.

No, I don't think it's freaky at all. Like I said, I don't know much about it, but the whole idea seems cool to me. Not too much freaks me out honestly. What others think of you is not as important as what YOU think. I was just in Toronto as well, at Wonderland, and am going there again in a few weeks. I love to VISIT there, but man, I could NEVER live there!

Cool cool. It's always a fun place to go. I always wanted to go on the ride "The Bullet". I was always too scared though. Neh, I'll get another chance sometime. Toronto can be a very busy place. But also very fascinating.

Yeah, it's allright. Too big though. I'm a small town boy, so it's a little overwhelming at times.

Hey CanuckBoy, great avatar, feel like I should salute.
There are lots of great Canucks around here. If you'd like to join our Friends Group we're The Canadian Group (Duh), #144. There are 196 of us from all over Canada and we fair pretty well in the Hourlies.
Have a great time here and we'll see you around the site, eh.

Hi there. LOL..I thought the avatar was cool, but please, no salutes, I'm VERY informal!
I think I'm a member of that group...someone invited me in a week or so ago, though, I can't seem to find where there is a listing of members. Someone asked me today in a note how to join, but I honestly had no idea.

I'm half Canadian... was up there this weekend for my great-grandma's 95th birthday. (She even got a birthday letter from Paul Martin.

Half Canadian eh? Well then you are half ok by me.
Seriously, that is cool. Not too many half Canadians are now in the Delta Quadrant.
From Paul Martin...did she return it?
Nice to meet you.

Heh - my great-aunt had written to a bunch of elected officials and got letters... She got some from Adrienne something-or-other (forget what she does in Martin's cabinet), the premier of Ontario, some MPs, the mayor of St Catharines, the Queen's Rep. to Canada, etc.

I can't wait until she turned 100 and can get a letter that's actually *signed* by the Queen!

That would be Adrienne Clarkson...and do you know, I STILL have no idea what she does! She's been there forever.
So she got one from Dalton McGuinty too? That's pretty cool.
So she is in St.Catherines? That is about 2.5 hours from me. I've been through it on my way to Niagra Falls before...nice area.

Arghhh! Adreinne Clarkson is the Governor General, the Queen's representative in Canada. Theoretically at least she has NO affiliation with any political party.
Hi from out West

The Queens Representative eh? She seems to do a lot of nothing.

Hi from Ontario.

Hi from Toronto, I'm new/old to the city, as I just moved back after almost 15 years away...

Don't know nothing 'bout politics, and don't wanna know...
And I don't say "eh". Yet.

Hello! from Penticton, B.C! I was born and raised here and have lived on the coast.....Vancouver, Maple Ridge, New West, Burnaby, North Vancouver....too busy of cities for me, so I came back to Penticton. If you haven't been here, this is the place to vacation....small town..very quiet, but hot, surrounded by 2 lakes and it's beautiful!

Hey there. My wife is from TO, born and raised. We'll be heading there next weekend to go to the zoo with our kids.

Politics ain't my thing either. I don't trust any of them. And as for eh, I have to admit...I use it a lot..eh?

Hi! I've never been to Penticton, but I have been to Dawson Creek, wayyyyyy back in the 80's. My aunt lived there for a while, and it was the most beautiful land I have ever seen. Southwestern Ontario has none of that beauty - it's all flat and bland here. Too many farms and fields for me!

I have been here for more than a week now, on holiday in New Westmister with Purple Fan and her husband. The weather has been wonderful, hot and sunny. The people , as I found last time, are most friendly and fun. I have been to see some of the most beautiful places I have ever been ( and I come from England!). I am off to UK on Tuesday, and I shall be sad to leave the friendliest and most beautiful of countries. Thanks so much, Canada.
PS If I were Canadian, I might take exception to being called " Junior American" . I am surprised it is quiet in here aboot that. But then Canadians are sooo polite!

LOL..yes, we are polite, and America Jr. is tongue in cheek.
I'm glad you liked it here, I'm very proud of it (listen to me, like I own the country!) and hope you come back sometime!

Well I agree we are polite.
I hope Ren comes back for a visit again as we have enjoyed showing her "Lotus Land" in all it's Glory.
We have even made her a Honorary Canadian and she has the appropriate Chapeau to prove it.
I shall miss her when she leaves.

I agree, when the weather co-operates, BC has got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Too many people in Vancouver, though, it takes forever to drive anywhere.
saraluvsu2, my neice lives in Kelowna, and my sister in Beaverdale, used to live in Okanagan Centre. Half of the Okanagan is transplants from Alta and Sask, it seems.
So PurpleFAn, what is the hat like?
