Don't worry, I won't say a word. I was just curious, since it isn't in the middle of the night in the US, so I assumed it would have been shown already.

Actually no, it finished about an hour ago - I won't say how it ended but let me just say this - it was great, so do not miss it! Tomorrow should be pretty close, I am cheering for the Russians, although I am not sure we have had such a close competition for a while now. We will have the entire thing live here (unlike the men where we watched only the 6th rotation live and then saw the rest backwards). Enjoy the competition LordAndry, I am sure you'll love it

I love to watch Khorkina - there is just something about her when you watch her perform. The woman is pure poetry in motion, she has this grace unlike any other at present for me. Of course, she is also prone to making a mistake or two in the event, like yesterday for example but for me, she is the best.

*cough* CBC *cough*
I miss my CBC... at least back home I had semi-decent Olympics coverage throughout the day. They even played the opening ceremonies as they were happening.

Unfortunately, with NBC, yes. They'll only play Olympics stuff in the evenings.
Can't upset the soap opera fans by putting on something actually worth watching once in a while...

Ah, the soap operas explain it all. We only have those on the commercial channels, not on the public ones that show the Olympics. They don't have a regular program anyway until maybe 3 or 4 pm, so the Olympics are a very welcome addition. We didn't even have a men's gymnastics team competing, yet the entire final was shown, live!

tonight's women's team gymnastics final should be a good one the three deepest teams are China, USA and Romania I think that they will nab the three medals how they perform will decide the finish order. I really don't think that any other nation has a team that is deep enough to compete for the podium

LordAndry - when you watch the ladies tonight, watch out for Khorkina on the vault - last to go, rot 1 - wow, what a shot! Wish I looked like that Anyway, whoever made the costumes for the Australians doesn't have a clue about women, not to mention the sport - awful, it is so annoying while watching them on the floor! Well am off to see the Chinese on their rot 1.

We're only 1 hour behind Athens. But even the Sydney Olympics were shown live... Anyway, I suspect you've watched the men's finals by now? I don't usually watch gymnastics, but it was fascinating to see! Ouch, those guys' arms must hurt after the exercise on the parallel bars. Beautiful to watch though.

I wish the Americans would switch outfits with the Canadians... I like the Canadian outfits much better...
And I feel sorry for the Romanians - you can see their undies.
And what is up with the outfits looking like they're made of latex?!

The American outfits are hideous! And now I'll have to check out the Romanian outfit, didn't notice that yet. I'm always wondering if those girls wear a bra underneath that outfit , so this is my chance to check, lol.

Well, I don't know about a bra, but geesh - those poor Romanian women/girls... I think I'd defect if I had to wear those. It's almost all white. Romania could have had like a red or blue bottom to at least do the underwear thing and/or in case one of the girl has her period and starts leaking (yes, I know it's gross - but it happens!)

Rofl, never thought about THAT! They kind of look too much underweight for that kind of problems though.... That Khorkina girl looks evil though, the Chinese girls look like adorable little kids basically, but Khorkina, she just *never* smiles!

Pathetic! Just pathetic!!!
:: fumes ::
You know why doesn't the US just get the gold without even entering the competition so then the rest of them can at least know it is already given and not bother?! I wonder just how much do the US pay for this kind of judging? Pathetic! Appaling!
Or as the Eurosport commentator said - what on Earth is going on?!

SO what's going on? I won't get to see anything until 8PM tonight (4 hours from now).
