Are there any songs that get stuck in your head 'cause they play it too much on the radio,or on t.v, or if your frind or family member sings it too much? I know that this happens to a lot of people. If so, what are they?

Well this isn't a song on the radio, but if you ever go to Disney don't, don't, don't go on the It's a Small World ride, that song will haunt you forever.

"The Riddle (Tumbalalaika)." My little sister is learning to play this, and let me tell you, it never lets you go.

..... or read a post with the song title mentioned. Now it will be in my head all night.

For the past few days, "Blurry" by Puddle of Mudd has been stuck in my head. Love that one, and it has special meaning in my life, so it is fine that it is stuck in my head.

And not only yours...

Well. I haven't heard these on the radio, but they've all been, at one point, songs that I've been singing against my will for weeks...

-Crazy Little Thing Called Love' by Queen
-'Many A New Day' from 'Oklahoma' the musical
-'I Want To Break Free' by Queen
-The numbers 1-8 sung up the scale and then back down again, accompanied by claps and stamps at the correct numbers.
-Oh, and 'We WIll Rock You', of course.

Isn't the mind sticking-power of Queen songs amazing...?!

The DJ at my student union has started playing the Baywatch theme tune as the last song of the night every Friday... after which it stays in my head for about 2 hours - and I don't even like the song!

For those not familiar, Menards is a home improvement store in this area. When you go in there they are constantly playing their advertising song "Save big money at Menards" over and over again. I guarentee when you come out of there that silly song will be with you all day!

I detest the song 'The road to Armarillo'....I cringe whenever someone mentions that song or ask for it at a gig.

Any song by Queen, whether I have heard it or someone mentions it...brings the song back and continously plays in my head until I hear something else.

Lately I canNOT get Black Eyed Peas' new song out of my head. "No,no,no,no. Baby,no,no,no,no. Don't lie." That's all I know, of course so it replays over and over and over.

On any given day any song could be stuck in my head. Some days I wake up with songs in my head that must have figured in dreams from the night before, and they stay there all day. Other days I'll just hear something and it'll sit there until I can pass it off on someone else. It doesn't have to be a song I know, if I catch a snippet, that snippet will be on replay. It doesn't have to be a song I like, but sometimes it's the ones I like that drive me the most bonkers.

But I had a friend once who could be instanty stuck in continuous play loop if anyone so much as mentioned one particular song. Sometimes he'd say he had a song stuck in his head and someone else would start singing this song just to push the other one out, which worked, but oh did he curse us. The song? We Built this City. (duh, nuh...nuh. We built this city on RAAAWWK an' Roll...)

Like Lilly up there, I've got the same Black Eyed Peas song stuck in my head... which is a relief for now since it pushed out the last song I had stuck in my head for three days... "All These Things That I've Done" by the Killers. For almost three days it was the same thing over and over, "I got soul, but I'm not a soldier"... I wonder what it'll be on Friday.

That's what my cell phone plays when my sister calls me! She loves that part. Speaking of my sister, her friend Jenny bought her Kelly Clarkson's CD for her birthday which of course she keeps playing. For an ENTIRE day I had "Since you been goooone, I can breathe for the first time. I'm so movin' ooon." in my head. *cringe* Thanks, Jenny.

When the Kings of Leon debut CD-EP was released, it contained "Molly's Chamber". The CD wasn't much of a hit but "Molly's Chamber" was stuck in my head for weeks. Then a half year later, the song was featured on the band's first full length album and once more it was heavy airplay in my head (which seems to have enough air for heavy airplay).

After radio seemed finished with the song, it appeared in a Jetta TV commercial. I don't normally watch much TV but either this commercial aired a lot or I just happen to have the set on when it was playing. If that wasn't enough, someone who knew how the song had wormed its way into my head sent me an email with a download of the Jetta ad. I no longer fight it, I embrace "Molly's Chamber" and am glad my current PC problems haven't prevented me from viewing the Jetta ad.

The Kings of Leon have a concert scheduled here soon. You know what song I'll be screaming for (and it's not "Free Bird").

I agree about the Eminem song. For a while I had it stuck in my head every morning when I woke up. Very odd. Also Hash Pipe by Weezer. It's almost too catchy.

I really hate country music but Willie Nelson singing the 'City of New Orleans' has been stuck in my head for the last few weeks, I never heard the song before but my mother was listening to a country and western radio station when I walked into the room the song was on, I loved the song after that but the radio stations here only play it about once or twice a week.

I don't know if a national anthem is classed as a song as I never heard any national anthems on any radio stations whether they are here or abroad(on the Internet)but I have the American National anthem stuck in my head for a while now, which is really odd as I don't know the words but I do know the tune of it and I'm not American and don't live in America, I heard it on a film a few months ago and it won't go away. I sing the Irish National anthem too every day but that one is fine as it's mine but I wish the American would go into someone else's head.
