American Idiot by Greenday has been in my head for the last 24 hours. I have tried to get it out, i listened to 2 of my MCR albums, but it is still in my head.

Although now i am watching the Greenday 'Bullet in a Bible' CD/DVD, and Holiday is playing right now, and American Idiot is gone.

Is that DVD any good? I meant to get it a long time ago and I've never gotten around to it.

Yeah it is good, it took me a while to get around to buying it, but i am glad i did, it has behind the scene's stuff, they tell you like where some of the songs came from, life on the road and stuff like that, it is good, it was only $12.00 over here anyway, so it didnt matter what it was like too me.

I think it's alot more than 12$ here, which sucks. I'm kind of low on money now.

Starland Vocal Band - "Afternoon Delight"

"Macarena" - Los Del, del, does anybody remember? Does it matter?

And my personal favorite:

"There comes a time, when we need a helping hand. When we all, must come together as one."

We are the world, people.

Personally, I preferred the version by Los Del Mar.

"Just Can't Get Enough" by Depeche Mode
"Always Something There to Remind Me" by Naked Eyes
"Mexican Radio" by Wall of Voodoo
"Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" by Middle of the Road
"Billy Don't Be A Hero" by Paper Lace
"Six Months In A Leaky Boat" by Split Enz
"Down Under" by Men At Work

ALL songs I've heard on the radio in the last month, and have found myself singing / humming away to at odd or somewhat unexpected moments.

My son finds it hilarious. Cubby finds it infuriating that I recently sat bolt-upright in bed at 2am after finally remembering it was Depeche Mode who did "Just Can't Get Enough"!

The Scorpions-Rock You Like A Hurricane has been stuck in my head for the past week, hence my signature.

I'm with you on Rock You Like A Hurricane... that was in my head a while ago thanks to a tv commercial.

I haven't had one stuck for a while, but the most recent one was Bad Company's Holy Water. I have no idea how it got there, it just stuck!

"Rehab" by Amy Winehouse. Been on a constant loop since I heard it for the first time in March.

Occasionally I get a break from that song with the song that's in the Dell Inspiron commercial by the Flaming Lips. You'd know it if you saw it. Look it up on YouTube and you can get it stuck in your head too

"Kitten is Angry" by Lemon Demon.
"....Her little whiskers are stained
With the blood of those that she has slain.
Kitten is angry, kitten is offended -
Fur stand on end and little claws extended,
Darting around and meowing quite a bit
And throwing such a hissy fit.
I don't know what to make of it!"

I love that song (yes, it's a 'head-sticker' ), but the rest of their stuff, what I've heard of it anyway, is pretty boring to me.
Was that song just a fluke or have I just not heard enough of them?

I don't know what this is, but years ago they played and played this moronic dance song that was like, "Come on ride the train its the choo-choo (whoo-whoot!) come on, its the choo-choo train!" I thought I was going to need a lobotomy!

This isn't one by a "known" group and if it is, I'd like to meet them and say thanks for blowing up my brain. The theme song from "The Beverly Hillbillies" show. I have NO idea why, but this has been running around my head for a week. I don't watch re-runs, it's not in a commercial that I have seen, and I don't have any friends sick enough or mean enough to have sung it to me or even hummed it. Even when I am doing something, this is hanging just on the edge of my mind. I am going to try and concentrate on one of the songs mentioned here to see if I can replace it. Anything has to be better than this!

Flatt and Scruggs, jordandog.

They were rather big time way back when...

Here's a link: Flatt and Scruggs/Foggy Mountain Boys

Actually, great stuff if you like bluegrass.

I went out with a boy who couldn't stop singing it. I got fed up tearing my hair out - and found another boy.

Thank you, Taesma, and yes, I do like Bluegrass. I find THIS unbelievable-I just played the Impossible category in the Global Challenge and guess what one of the questions was?! "Where was the Clampett Mansion actually located?" Now, for any of you who may not be familiar with the show and song I referred to in my above post, the Clampetts ARE The Beverly Hillbillies. What is going on here? Is the cosmic universe and my karma in collision or what? Sorry, but this is starting to freak me out. The next thing I know, my dog (Jordan) will go out in the morning for her potty break and strike oil in my backyard. If that happens, do you think they'll let me have a computer to play trivia in the Psychiatric Ward? Sandy

jordandog, I just saw a 'new' GEICO commercial that features Jed Clampett, and the story of his newfound wealth, and move to Beverly Hills...
Honestly, I had the sound down, so I don't know if the song played, but maybe! You are being stalked by Clampett-mania!

The Poor Side of Town by Johhny Rivers and Time of the Season by the Zombies have been stuck in my head for well over a week. Sometimes they are mixed together, sometimes one right after the other. I can't escape it!
