My mother hated hearing kids say that they were bored, and would always "find you something to do" if you came to her with that complaint. Believe me, anything was better than my mom's boredom relievers - my least favorite was scrubbing little carrots with a vegetable brush (ten to fifteen pounds at a time, my mother never did anything by halves). The water would run down your arms as you sat at the table, and would make your arms itch terribly.
My own kids learned early never to come to me complaining of boredom - I would say "Good, you can take care of this for me", give them whatever job I was working at, and go sit down to read my book.
If you really are so bored, go find someone in your house who is working at something, and give them a hand. They will be so pleased (and surprised) that it is sure to pay off for you in some way.

Without going into the detail that linkan has, I too, am far to busy to be bored.

Lowwow, you managed to spend enough time on your computer to find this site, there are many many other sites that can cater to even the mildest of interests for you.
If television is an important part of your life, why not find a site that discusses your favourite shows, or shows that you used to like but aren't screened anymore. You may be able to offer some information that other people don't know about. The same with any sports that you are interested in or watch on TV.

The Internet is a wonderful place, not just for chatting, but to learn about things, maybe even help you with your homework.

Believe it or not there are even sites that you can visit just on 'boredom' itself.

You might be a bit depressed, but by doing something for someone else, you are doing something for yourself.

So instead of saying you're bored, go clean your room.
