No Tanzen you are not the only person missing him. 5 times I`ve tried to hit him but he just keeps ducking.

How could you 'miss' him, he's built like the side of three brick sh*thouses . . . have you noticed, however, that 'illnesses' keep stalking the Labour pollies, and least of all are the mental ones! (lol)

Thanks very much Engadine, I`ll send a personal thank you in a diplomatic pouch.
One thing that makes me hopping mad is the fact that pollies are so hard to reach when you have a grievence. I therefore also promise to make gum leaves freely available to those wishing to see me in person. Just put your lips together and blow.

In answer to the original question, it would appear that the answer is yes.

Too much too soon Mr Latham. If the Labour party had eased their radical policies/changes onto the Australian populace over a longer period of time the result may have been different. As it was we were inundated with major changes to existing Liberal policies and I believe the voters thoughts were cast back to the Whitlam era.
The greens didn`t help Labours result any after the comment by Bob Brown that he believes prisoners should have the right to vote.
Perhaps voters were more interested in the tangible economic results that have been produced under the Liberal party than the high moral ground platitude expressed by Labour.

Coalition romped it in - can't remember by what majority of seats though .. low twenties anyway and with a little help in the senate from the Families First party they'll ahve control there too. Think it took most by surprise that it was the close contest we were expecting.

And how nice of the losing Labour runners to say how dumb those who voted for the government were because they were all dumb enough to fall for the lying campaign of the Libs. Ah get over it - you lost. Including Ross Cameron for Parramatta who spilled the beans pre campaigning to an affair and thus became the only Lib sitting member to lose his seat. Lmao - suppose it was better than it being outted by the opposition but still ...
