Anyone know why when I looked last night, I had double my money when I had nothing to spend before that?

It says something on the site about 'dividend day' being today, which is Thursday 16 September . . .

Dividend day it was! Soared way up when I checked at about 0205 CET, so probably paid out just after midnight BBC time.

The standings go by per centage increase over the week, not total worth, so someone who has a big week while the rest of us muddle along could make a huge leap up the leaderboard.

I'm already totally addicted to this one - good thing it's only virtual money!

So how do we work this out now? Myself and wez have been given wads of cash icons, and had our money reset to a mere 10,000! All my shares are gone, and we have to start from scratch again

Yup. If you get over £2m on saturday, you get kneecapped.
You get to keep the cash in the form of icons but have to restart with £10k for investment purposes.

I sold all mine on Friday so I could buy 4 times as many in Defoe for the extra win bonus cash.
Doesn't look like the win bonuses have been paid out yet though.

Wow, I only have to earn 1.88 million pounds to get kneecapped- what an incentive, eh?

Don't worry about Ozzz....... Rearrange these words in a well known saying or phrase...: last, never,it'll .....

Mate, on Saturdays Sportdaq have 'millionaires day' where if your total worth exceeds 2 million squid, you get 'knee-capped' (I'm sure the Beeb could have come up with a more appropriate phrase? ) and with your total worth standing at £5,799,946, you're in line for a 'sexy' car icon to the value of £5m.

The downside of this status symbol is......you have to start all over again with just £10k. But at least everyone knows you're 'minted'!

Yep, it looks like a large pain in the patella for Engadine and me.

Now, should I pile all my huge £10K into Leeds or Bradford for the rugby?

Leeds. And it's not Rugby! At least not here

Been in the process of moving so haven't been able to do much on the sportsdaq but was pleastantly surprised when I saw that I'd piled all my money (except for a few token shares on Jimmy Floyd Hassleback - or however you spell it - cause one day he will get the media attention he deserves!) onto Rooney before I left. He went up 44p just today.

Thanks for explaining the 'knee-capping' bizzo Wez, mind you, in my partner's country (Northern Ireland) that has a whole different meaning! lol! Hang on a minute, that's not actually funny, I must be a bit of a sicko, oh well, I'll just sit back and count my millions!

hehe

Look at Wayne Rooney's price - £19.57! Yikes. How far can he go?

And go Leeds! A win bonus would be nice ...

Can't believe people must be buying them at that price! I have a nice little chunk of them and paid about £3 I think ages ago Hope he gets lots of mentions this week, dividend on top of that will be nice.
