Did we all start at the same time? If you divide the total score by the % increase for the week, the answer should take all of us back to week 0, and the starting point of 10,000 (I think).

Ohhhh, a big thanks to SG for the fancy chart. and are you trying to confuse me, Gt??? (marchmadness made £31 before we started and Wez started about 12 hours before due but nothing had been updated when the rest of us started)

Now, can anyone work it out? I guess the sportsdaq site does it on the percentage gain rather than the total of each player. In which case it's SpanishLiz who has had a great week of trading making a 226% gain. But it's Wez that has the highest amount of money with £41437 to his name. With Tim Henman shares starting to fall there should be some frantic selling happening amongst us all.

So who is making the news at the moment? With England through to the semis of the ICC champions trophy there is bound to be some talk of cricket players, a full round of premier league soccer games plus UEFA the next week and Ryder cup in golf. Lots of people out there waiting to be traded on so good luck all.

(got no idea who to trade on? don't forget to check out the
rumour mill )

I'm confused, 'cause it doesn't seen to add. If we started with 10,000 each, why isn't wez leading?

>> Now, can anyone work it out?

nope

>> I guess the sportsdaq site does it on the percentage gain rather than the total of each player.

yep, but then the answers should be the same, as we've been running this for one week, and all of us 've received one set of weekly dividends .. whatever they are, lol

I could run two charts side by side. One showing the percentage, and the other showing the values?

Playing with the numbers, and working backwards from the sportdaq values and percentage gain, gives the Week 0 values that sportdaq are using for the FT league. We should all be on 10000, but only 3 players have that figure for Week 0. It looks like the time we reg'd, and/or the time at which we were admitted to the FT League by sportdaq, has an impact on where we start; relative to each other. If the opening figures are adjusted so that we're all on 10000, the table would look like this:

sportdaq

sportdaq
Week 1

Should we run with this? If we agree, the adj would not change; it'd be the same number each week; I think

*eyes glazing over*

huh??

Would just going with the totals be easier?

And if someone wants to explain in basic english with words of two syllables or less how to do the charts I'm more than happy to do that.

The dividends are what you get for the press coverage received by the people you 'own', based on a complicated formula that I found in the FAQs. There's a dividend list somewhere too - I think in the Messageboard.

You get a certain amount per share you own (and you need to still own them on Thursday to get the full dividend) based on that list.

Look at Win Bonuses too, and keep an eye on the Stock Ticker.

Spot on I'd say g...... All of BBCi is affected by the Beeb's strange working practices. (At least all you non-Brits don't have to pay a flaming liscence fee! ). Suffice to say, most of the time, the Beeb don't consider the internet to be a 24hr medium. Some of us may have been 'pending' for a little longer than others?

For those of you wishing to know where all that welcome extra lolly came from on Thursday morning....

(Incidentally, divi's are paid out just after 00.00 hrs BST/(GMT soon), Wednesday night, Thursday morning).

Now, I'M confused!
