Copago Moderator Registered: Tue May 15 2001 Posts: 14384 Loc: Australia	This tickled me The soap operas Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives were running four years behind in Australia and in order to catch up to the current episodes shown in the US they brought everyone here up to date by showing a ONE HOUR length special for each show. Four years in one hour! Soap Central Quote: Both Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless have aired in Australia for more than 30 years. However, the network's aggressive coverage of cricket has apparently caused numerous preemptions to the point where soap fans have become outraged. Aggresive?!? Outraged?!?! Wow, these are people that really need to think about prioritys!

Daft as it initially sounds it probably is quite a good idea to fast-forward, so much has happened in the past four years, 9/11 for a start, the war in Iraq, the removal of Saddam. Presumably some news get a mention in soaps, doesn't it? OK perhaps not news, the current music? Having said that, I get sick as a parrot when they keep messing with the scheduling of Corrie to fit with sport, sheesh. _________________________ Many a child has been spoiled because you can't spank a Grandma!
