I just saw the coming attractions for tomorrow night's new episode. It was said "They survived the plane crash, they survived the island, now tonight one will not survive." That, and when I read who leads the charge against Ethan, makes me think that it is Charlie who gets killed. I hope not...I cried when I thought he was dead when Jack and Kate found him hanging...if he dies tomorrow night, I'll be hysterical!

Last nights episode was good. Although I don't think Charlie should have shot Ethan. I mean HELLO they might have been able to get some information out of him...then again maybe not. I read somewhere that if they ever do kill of one of the main characters then it won't be Charlie cuz Dominic Monaghan has such a fan following. Which is a good thing because Charlieis one of my favorite characters....along with Claire and Locke. frodobeh

I'm just happy that they found Vincent! Yippee! What an adorable doggie! Oh, by the way, Sawyer is my favorite character! Woo hoo, looking forward to next week's episode!

I'm so very happy that the person who was killed was not a major character in the show.
I think Charlie did what he felt was right when he killed Ethan. I mean Ethan did kidnap him and Claire. Ethan did hang Charlie, causing Charlie to almost die.
Grant it, if Charlie didn't kill Ethan, the other survivors could have made Ethan tell all...but then again maybe not. Also, where and what would they have done with Ethan if Charlie hadn't killed him? I mean there isn't any place to keep him safely locked up.
By the way, my all-time favorite character is Sayid (I finally found out how to spell this gorgeous man's name!), and my other favorites are Claire, Charlie, Hurley, Kate, and Sawyer.

I'm all for Kate and Jack hooking up but does anybody else out there love the chemistry between Kate and Sawyer? It was apparent before, but during last episode, it was just crackling!

Did anyone else notice in Wednesdays show that Hurley was on the TV? When Jin goes to that guys house the first time and his daughter is watching TV you are able to see the TV and on it was Hurley. He was getting into a car or something. Maybe Hurley is an actor...hmmm....Hopefully we will find out about him this coming week. I think we will because they were kind of focusing on him at the end of this episode and in the previews for next week. frodobeh

I noticed Hurley on the television when Jin went to the guy's house. It was funny...in Wednesday's episode near the end, I saw Hurley using his personal CD player, and I said to my sister, "What's he going to do when his batteries die?" and I no sooner said that, and Hurley's batteries died. I felt so bad!

Last nights episode was really good...as usual. I'm glad we finally got to know more about Hurley. I wonder what the numbers stand for. They were on that underground metal tunnel or whatever it is. Maybe they are some secret Military thing....hmmmm.....OH!! Did anybody else catch the part where they mention the box company? When Hurley was talking with that guy in the office about the stocks he owns the guys like you have so much in a box company. And Hurley's like, "Box company!?" And they guys like, "They make boxes." I'm just like OH MY GOSH!! Locke worked at a box company...and he had that exact same conversation with somebody in one of the early episodes!! Another connection between characters!! o0o0o0o0...... The only thing that bothered me is that Charlie didn't believe Hurley when he said he was worth about $100 million dollars...or whatever. But otherwise it was a fantastic episode. frodobeh

I loved the episode as well. Its amazing how the writers of the show have made everything fit togther. I hope that they keep it up. I worry though that there going to write themselves into a corner.
By the way, how cool is John Locke. His smile creeps me out any time I see it. He is by far one of my favorite charcters. I have recently started to dislike Kate. She's a moralizer and seemingly a flat charcter. So too Jack, he's so boring.
Hurley is a great character. That's all that need be said.
I'm sad that Lost is a re-run next week.

I loved Wednesday's episode! We finally got to see Hurley's story!
The numbers that Rousseu had written down about 5 to 6 times on the piece of paper that Sayid took from her in a previous episode had the same exact numbers on it that Hurley used to win the Mega Bucks with. Hurley got those numbers from the guy he knows in the crazy house, and that guy mentioned another guy's name. Hurley then found where that other guy lived and went there to talk to him.
That other guy (I forget his name) lived in Australia, and when Hurley went to his house, his wife told Hurley the story...that 16 years ago her husband and a friend of his (apparently the friend was Hurley's friend from the crazy house) were out at sea and kept hearing static on the radio, then they began hearing the numbers (the same numbers that Hurley played) being repeated over and over again.
If I remember correctly, Rousseu has been on the island for 16 years...maybe she is the one who sent the numbers out over the airwaves, which were then picked up by the guy in the crazy house and the Australian man.
Considering that Rousseu is not part of Ethan's "others", maybe Ethan's others have been on the island longer and they were the ones who carved or chisled those numbers in the ground near the metal box that Locke and Boon have been trying to break open.
It was nice to see that Rousseu could be decent, I mean she didn't have to tell Hurley what she told him...and she let him hug her and gave him the battery to boot.
I had to chuckle when Charlie didn't believe Hurley when he told him that he's worth 156 million dollars off the island.
I also thought it was nice that Locke made Claire a cradle for her upcoming baby.
I also have to wonder about a few of other things:
1.) What is or is in the metal box that Locke and Boon are trying to pry open? If they open it, will something bad or good happen?
2.) If, as it seems, all the main characters are somehow connected, what does it mean? Does it mean that the world they know outside the island will be destroyed and they will be the beginning of a whole new world?
3.) When will the rest of Ethan's "others" show their faces?
4.) What are the producers and directors thinking hooking up *my* Sayid with Shannon? Are they crazy? I mean the chick had sex with her brother! I think my Sayid deserves way better than Shannon!

Considering that next week's episode is the repeat of Jack and Kate finding Charlie's body hanging from the tree, I think they are showing that so people who missed it can catch up.
It can also be a prelude to the following week's episode...hopefully in that episode Claire has her baby.

ha ha ha, nah, you didn't miss anything... That was never explained, nor was his nickname explained... I'm guessing we're gonna get another Hurley episode that answers these questions and more On a side note, it seemed that maybe Hurley worked there or volunteered there because the doctor who met him at the front desk said it was nice to see him and commented on how long it had been... this show just keeps posing question after question!

Actually, I'm wondering if maybe Hurley was institutionalized in the past. Two things make me consider this. One, when he was being interviewed with his family after winning the lottery, he mentioned that he had put his family through a lot. And two, when he and Charlie were walking through the jungle, I remember Charlie being skeptical about something Hurley said, and Hurley immediately turned on Charlie and replied, "I'm not crazy!" He said it very intensely, maybe because he had been crazy in the past? Who knows!

I agree - I think Hurley was a patient there as well.

Actually, I agree now as well, I went back and rewatched that part and the doctor actually asks Hurley what he's doing back there?... wow, these people just keep unfolding like flowers!

I watched last night's repeat of LOST the first time it aired. Isn't it funny how we can watch episodes and not always pick up on the foreshadwoing? (myself, anyway) Did anybody else notice last night that when Walt yelled at Hurley that he owed him $20,000, Hurley replied by saying, "You'll get it". When this episode originally aired weeks ago, that line was a huge foreshadowing to last weeks episode in which Hurley wins the lottery. Of course Hurley can pay it back, the man is worth $156 million. Did anybody who watched the original airing pick up on this? I am constantly amazed at how well the writers have put this show together. Usually, shows are questionable when it comes to continuity, but "LOST" just keeps surprising me. I'm starting to think the writers have already written the storyline for the entire series, however long it may turn out to be.

yeah, no kidding ... buying everything I've ever wanted would probably only set me back a couple hundred thousand... well, maybe a little more if you include the mansion . But what to do with the rest of the 155 million I'd have left, *shrug* I guess I could turn into the world's greatest philanthropist or something. Ya know, I've always wanted to travel...

As I think I've mentioned, I completely bawled when I thought Charlie was dead.(And I'm glad I wasn't the only one,DakotaNorth) Seeing it the second time, yes,I teared up a little. Hey, I can't help it;he's my favorite!(I like Sawyer too, but that has a lot to do with the fact that he's from Tennessee. Oh,yeah and he's hot.) But I also cried when I figured out that Locke was making Claire a bassinet.(sp?) I'm such a girl. But c'mon, that was total sweetness.
