Woo hoo hoo... what a crazy series of events. This show keeps getting better and better! Anyone else think Walt is becoming increasingly creepy? What is up with that kid? Is he psychic? Is he telepathic? Is he psychokinetic? How about that scene in the car with Kate and Tom? That was so cute. I don't know about you guys, but the way everyone alienated Kate after Sawyer (whom I'm still very upset with) revealed her secret to everyone, was just soo rude. I mean, they didn't even know exactly what she did or what the circumstances were and still they were willing to automatically assume that she had to be the culprit behind the poisoning. (all right, all right, so it was her idea, but she didn't actually do it) Anyone catch a glimpse of Shannon? Wow, did she look like a zombie or what? If the idea was to make it look like she was seriously grieving Boone's death, they nailed it. Overall, I'd say it was a great episode... they're building to something huge for the finale I'd bet anything on that.

I was totally thrilled about the season finale! Questions were answered and more questions surfaced!
I was horrified to realise that Rousseau had had Claire kidnapped (when Claire saw the deep scratches on Rouseau's arm she remembered fighting with her in the jungle), which means that Ethan wasn't witht the "Others" but he was in fact with Rousseau (maybe her own baby's father??).
I was surprised to see the "Others". The man behind the light looked like a biker dude, with long, scraggly hair and beard, and wearing a leather jacket. I was shocked when the "Others" wanted Walt (considering we've been led to believe that the "Others" wanted Claire's baby). Then I remembered that Walt is "Special" with special knowledge, which then made sense.
I was so disappointed to see that Charlie had indeed taken one of the Virgin Mary statues that are filled with heroin...I can only hope he doesn't use it!
The hatch...it seems that the hatch is not a place to "hide" in as Jack so badly wanted; but in fact it seems to be an escape hatch (albiet a rarely used one), which could be seen with the ladder. The rungs of the ladder were broken or missing altogether, so obviously it hasn't been used in a long time.
Questions:
Are the "Others" really humans? Or are they aliens in human form?
What the heck is the "Security System"? Is it mechanical or animal?
Will Jack and Locke discover what is inside the hatch? (Maybe someone can be lowered down to investigate?)
Is Rousseau's baby (now 16) still alive? Or was he sacrificed at the black smoke?
I know I have tons more questions, so I'll be back!

Me,too! I actually said out loud, "Oh, Charlie!" Then proceeded to cry like a baby. A CRAZY baby! Walt got kidnapped? Little misty-eyed.( Great scene, by the way) Charlie's back on the heroin?!? Whaaat?! *Sob,sob* (Like, I said: crazy)For the first time I was glad no one watches this show with me.

As soon as Danielle said,"I heard them say they want the child. They want the boy." I was like,"Oh my God, they want Walt." Don't know why I thought that, but I did. Also, even though I'm an admitted Charlie-lover, he was getting on my nerves being super mean to Danielle. I know she kidnapped Claire's baby and all, but I also know that if the situation was reversed for some reason, and Claire had kidnapped a baby in order to get hers back Charlie would've been super sweet and understanding towards her instead of just calling her pathetic. And what was that about? You are the one Claire trusts, Charlie. You are the one who's going to break her heart when the heroin is discovered.(Which it will be!) And I hope you are the one who gets the crap beat out of him by a little blonde Australian.

I thought Rousseau's baby was a girl? If so, could the blonde chick who threw the explosive on the raft be her? Hmmm...

Whoa. Awesome! I mean, he could probably produce a blonde baby.
And I hope my Sawyer survives!!
Edited to say: Completely forgot to mention the part where Charlie made the bjorn for Claire's baby, and she thanked him with a kiss on the cheek. Why, Charlie, do you make me love you when I want to hate you?

The blonde person who threw the explosive on the raft could be a "girl" or could be long haired blonde "boy". Also, two dark haired people can make a blonde baby...especially if someone in their family is blonde (like a mother, father, sister). Also, Rousseau said her baby's name is Alex...grant it, Alex could be a girl's name as much a boy's name, and Rousseau never said if her baby was a boy or a girl.
I don't think Charlie will use the heroin; he brought back a whole Virgin Mary statue. Remember when Locke tested him? Well, maybe Charlie's testing himself...could be, who knows.
At least Sayid showed he has manners as he didn't degrade Rousseau for taking Aaron...Sayid showed Rousseau sympathy, which is what she needed I think. Unlike Charlie who bad-mouthed her. Charlie's lucky he didn't end up with a bullet in him!
The spoilers for the season finale said that someone will die...but is Art's death the "one" or could it be Sawyer? God, I hope not as he has grown on me and I actually like him!
Michael, Jin and Sawyer are 15 miles out to sea...they now have no raft, no flare, and no way of getting back to the island unless they swim. Can they make it? If Sawyer is alive, he's been shot, can he make back to the island?
What do the numbers mean? Could they be combination for the hatch? I don't think so since the hatch didn't have a handle of any kind. Could they represent important years? Like maybe the "Others" arrived on the island in 1904, then in 1908 something important happened, then in the years 1915 and 1916 something important happened, then in the year 1923 something else happened, and in 1942 something else happened? Are the numbers a way to get off the island? Like if they find the meaning behind the numbers they'll be rescued?
Who will go into the hatch to discover what's inside? My guess is Locke since he is the "hunter".
And...for some reason, I think Vincent will be the one to rescue Walt...I don't know why I'm thinking this, but I am!

Actually, in Exodus 1 when Rousseau gathers everyone to tell them the others are coming, she says, "They took HER... Alex". So I'm pretty sure her baby was a girl... which I guess makes sense if the chick on the boat was indeed a chick.

I totally agree with this. Remember, Charlie is religious (the whole confession thing in The Moth episode) so it's possible he's going to use the Mary statue as a source of strength and faith to fight his temptations.
I'd like to know what connection the others have with the numbers? They show up in almost everyone's back story, don't they? I mean, we found out about Kate's $23,000 reward thing, and then there was Locke's football aisles (8 & 15)in his flashback... I forget the others, but those numbers really have me intrigued.
I agree on the Sawyer front, I sooo hope he isn't dead. I totally love Sawyer, sometimes he manages to tick me off to no end (like what he did to Kate), but then he totally redeems himself with random acts of kindness like telling Jack that his dad loved him.... oh Sawyer, why are you so gorgeous and complex?
Well, folks, it appears we now have to wait until September or October to get some answers... I'm so anxious, I'm actually considering going into suspended animation until then.

Thanks Gemini...I didn't hear Rousseau say "They took her...Alex". Thanks for clearing that up...so it looks like the blonde on the boat is a girl and possibly Rousseau's baby (now grown). You want to talk about suspended animation? Those last two hours keep going around in my head...I keep looking at different things hoping to find something I didn't see before. I'm going to have a total "Lost" withdrawl before September or October!

About Charlie and the Mary statue. I was thinking that maybe he just took the top of one of them. You know since he is Catholic and everything. He may not have wanted to take the whole thing because he didn't want to be tempted. But then again he could have taken a whole one to test himself like someone else said. Either way I don't think he is going to go back to using the Heroin. It bothered me as well when Charlie was being all mean to Rousseau. She just wanted her daughter back and she thought that was the only way to do it. What did Jack mean when he said, "I think we're going to have a Locke problem."? Did Jack think Locke was testing his authority or maybe Locke was kind of nuts?? I don't know. That line kind of struck me as odd though. I'm thinking the hole that Locke was almost pulled in to might be away out/into the hatch place. Because in a previous episode they were saying how their had to be another way out. So maybe that was it. Does anyone else find it really weird how everybody sweats...ALOT!! Yet no one seems to notice. Like when Hurley was trying to get on the plan he was practically covered in sweat yet no one cared. He even gave that gate lady a hug. I would have been like ewwwwww.....smelly and sweaty. Don't hug me....maybe they don't smell. That would be weird though. yeah well I thought the Finale was great....I can't wait till September/October for the next season. I don't know how I'm going to last. LOL Frodobeh

"Lost" - Season One DVD set will be released on September 6th. It'll show how the plane crashed, bloopers, behind-the-scenes, and more. tvshowsonDVD.com has a lot of information about it.

Color me excited!! I've read some other forums where people are just irate with the finale saying that they're quote "done with this show". Basically, they seem mad because there are still questions. Well, of course there are still questions. If everything was answered there wouldn't be any more show left. I, for one, was satisfied. Will Charlie discover the heroin? Will Hurley see the numbers on the hatch? Will they even open the hatch? Yes, yes, and YES! And many other things were revealed as well....

I hope, hope, hope this is his reasoning but I'm a big pessimist.(SP) But to quote Catherine Willows: "That way I'm never disappointed. Now, sometimes I'm nicely surprised."

I just realized that with season 1 coming out on DVD in September and season 2 starting shortly after that, I may not see sunlight until spring... But the real reason I'm posting is that I suggest all Lost fans go here. When you get there click on all of Hurley's "bad" numbers in a row (4,8,15,16,23,42) and then enjoy! You may have to be a bit patient but, trust me, it is more than worth it. Hope it works for everyone!!! Also, there are lots of little hidden things through out this website if thou art curious...

That teaser trailer there really got me excited. It's gonna be a good season! I've got some more news about the show and DVD for all of you. The DVD set being released on September 7th will cost $59.99 (US$) and $87.99 (CAN$). The set will contain seven discs, and I tell ya, buy it on Amazon.com. It's 35% cheaper in the US and 20% cheaper in Canada. The second season of "LOST" will feature Michelle Rodriguez (from 'Blue Crush' and 'Resident Evil') as well as Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (from 'Oz' and 'Ace Ventura 2'). It is unknown what their role on the island will be yet, but knowing the show, they will definately have deep, dark secrets, and they'll be mysterious.

Has anyone seen the "Lost" promo directed by David LaChappelle? It features all the actors and actresses from the series dancing with one another to a Portishead song. It's kind of surreal and totally has nothing to do with the show itself, but I can't help liking it. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Hope it works!!
