I haven't had the chance to see it yet, Ren, but I will see it soon. I heard it's pretty good. It's interesting because it's about Che Guevara before he became a revolutionary man, and the movie is based on the journals he wrote while on the trip through South America with his friend. I heard that Gael García Bernal, who plays "Che", is really good in the movie, as well as Rodrigo de la Serna, who plays his friend, Alberto. And also that the scenery is beautiful. That, I can tell you is true. There are really beautiful places in South America.

Hi Minkpenny. As I mentioned, there is a competition in my local newspaper to win free tickets to see it. I am hoping! The competition asked the question "Which South American Country would you like to visit most and why?"(20 words)
I actually did say Argentina! "because of its amazing wealth of natural beauty, its elegant capital and friendly people." or words to that effect. Do I have a chance?Lol!
I have always been interested in Che. I will go to see it anyway. Thanks for the preview.

No, and I am well sick about it. It was only shown here for a week and I was so busy then. Now I suppose I have to wait for the DVD. It is worse when I hear that it has won all sorts of awards too.

I saw this in a film class and then the director was there to talk to us. The film was pretty good, though there were some parts that were a bit slow. It didn't really present itself as a "see how Che became the man he was later" so much as just a movie about two young guys out to explore the continent. As a road movie, it was quite good, and provided stunningly beautiful scenes around Latin America!
