I'll take a look Ren, this is a clearcut case of something that can be changed and the sort of thing we'd never allow now. At the moment we're discouraging people from even mentioning the CD or track numbers etc because they are so different in each country. We are also inviting people to give a lead in sentence too but it's slow going.
I mean something like Which of the following fifties songs has this lyric in it? Instead of a quiz named fifties songs and then a lyric floating in space.
I can tell right away it's an older quiz because there was a question mark on a true false. This is because at one time, the software apparently wouldn't recognize a statement instead of a question. We send things back for that now.
However, if you do get something that doesn't make sense because it's out of context, let's say a riddle with multiple choice answers that appears on your daily, then, bear in mind that the person has no idea or may not know what you're talking about if you don't mention the daily.
And, what is more, they may have a perfectly valid quiz but it has a few questions that aren't adapted to the daily.
We are working on a solution without excluding good quizzes.
I appreciate your concern because it is hard for the quizwriter to know what the correction is about, there are many older quizzes popping up that normally wouldn't get much notice.
Thank goodness that one is a quickfix, not all of them are.
