Manchester United, always has been always will be.

Traditionally it's the Balmain Tigers but thanks to Rupert Murdoch, who should be hung drawn and quartered, it's now the Wests Tigers Rugby League team.

St Kilda Aussie Rules, Sydney Roosters in rugby league, and anyone that is playing New Zealand in anything!.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I know, they are terrible this year, but I love them.

My favorite team will always be the Minnesota Twins. They are a consistently good team, and in my opinion, they have the best attitude of all of the major league baseball teams.

That means, of course, that I will forever loathe the New York Yankees, who constantly shut the Twins out of the World Series in the playoffs.

United are the world's most famous team I would think, as well as being the richest team on the planet (as far as annual turnover goes)

The brand name of Manchester United FC is absolutely huge in Asia, with, I understand, around a quarter of the company's profits earned in that market of the world.

When United toured the Far East a couple of years ago, they were sold out wherever they played. From memory, their training sessions were also packed out.

My all time favorite team is the Atlanta Braves (Major League Baseball). I couldn't pick a favorite player though.

I have two favorite football teams, American Football that is... college, the Oklahoma Sooners. NFL, the Dallas Cowboys.

My favourite team is Meath (Gaelic Football)and all their players are my favourite.
My favourite soccer team is Celtic Football Club and i like Manchester United

The Colorado Rockies are my favorite team. Before they came, I was a Cubs and Braves fan, because my grandma was. But now I stick with the home team.

Because they're my "home" teams.

But I've admired loads of others over time -for various reasons - the All Blacks, the Aussie, West Indies, Indian Somerset, Auckland and Lancashire cricket teams, and liked a lot of others - the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners (I spent a lot of happy times in Seattle), Ipswich Town (I met Paul Mariner), Manchester United (Ryan Giggs and Mark Hughes - as well as my dad reciting the 1958 story time over time), Aldershot, Scarborough, Swansea/ Ospreys (rugby union - family connections), Washington Redskins (a long story) - and on and on it goes.

But I think I'm a "glass half full person" - and I love my sport - and have had a lot of the more positive experiences in my life thanks to sport - in fact, there are very few sporting teams I find it hard to dislike!

When the subject of sports comes up people often assume because I spent much of my formative and young adult years in Chicago, that I root for the hapless Cubs. No! I'm a die hard Chicago White Sox fan, and have been since Eisenhower was President. Bill Veeck who once owned the White Sox said “The White Sox had long ago tested the loyalty of their rooters; the weak and faint of heart had fallen by the wayside and only the strong, the dedicated and the masochistic remained. If there is any justice in this world, to be a White Sox fan freed a man from any other form of penance.” Amen to that.

I support my home town football (soccer) club, Aldershot town they play in the 4th grade league, only a small club but i love them.
