I think a few of you know that my boyfriend and I have been beta-testing World of Warcraft since June. Anyway, the game comes out November 23, and the game is currently in open beta now (meaning anyone who wants to can download and play the game for free before its release).

Anyway, I thought I'd give my impressions, even though I've never played an MMORPG before!

I'm addicted to the game. Although I believe Everquest has more choices of races and such, I am really impressed with the number of different combinations you can come up with. I've played everything from a warrior to a priest, from an Undead to a Night Elf and like all the different areas and such.

My highest character right now is a Night Elf Warrior at level 24. It's a very easy game to start out with and learn, so if you know someone you want ot play a game like this with, start them out with WoW. A lot of the other testers have been saying that they're going to play with their significant others who had never before considered playing an MMMORPG.

There have been a couple things in the latest patch that I didn't like, for example, durability and needing reagents, but apparently at least the durability will be changed in the next patch.

I guess this is a bit disjointed. So I'd say if you're considering WoW (or EQ2 , try the game now while it's in open beta and free so you don't need to pay for the game or an account.

Has anyone else played the game? What are your thoughts? (And what server do you play on, I might make an appearance.

LOL! LA, have you tried WoW? If you type /v silly or /v emote , the different races and genders have the FUNNIEST lines! (Although some of us caught some grammar problems in a couple of them.

Also, I've tried playing regular Warcraft III against my boyfriend, he always kicks my butt!

The little guys that blow themselves up in warcraft two make me laugh with their comments though the funniest one for me is "you never touch the other elves that way".
Starcraft still has me playing it after years and years. As I mentioned in another thread I was playing it online but the Koreans proved too heartless and I got sick of being slaughtered. One cool thing about online though is that you get to download some different scenarios.
I`m definetly going to check out the beta version of warcraft.
