Sorry to be brief but in a rush.

Should the question not read "I answered NO to both questions" for which I think there might be a unique solution, otherwise I reckon there are an infinite number of solutions????

The ticket numbers are 1299 and 1300, and he must have answered "no" to both questions otherwise his wife would not have been able to give a difinitive answer??????
