That one did it to me... Also "Jakob the Liar".
About half of the movies ever made make my mom cry...
Oh, "Catz and Dogs" (I think that's the title) where the cats and dogs are at war with each other - that made me cry last time because I missed my animals!
"Beethovan" makes my aunt cry - and she's never seen it. She just looks at the cover of the video and the picture of the St Bernard have her in tears.

Oh, that reminds me: Where the Red Fern Grows. They made us read AND watch it in 6th grade.

LOL, I asked my husband at which movie do I cry the most and he rolled his eyes! Agony, I'm like you: I cry at just about everything! But I will cry at just the thought of the movie Homeward Bound and Steel Magnolias.

Gees, even commercials make me cry sometimes. I don't think I could begin to choose what movie makes me cry the most. Certain movies come to mind, though. The Lion King. I always cry, every darn time. It's not even that great a movie, and it's Disney, but I think about my own father and how lost I would be without him, and it just gets me. Well, that and James Earl Jones' voice...

For me it would be Billy Elliot and The Green Mile. I always cry when I watch those movies. Then, there's Sophie's Choice I've seen it only once, and other times I just watched parts of it. Very, very sad movie.

ClaraSue, I thought I was the only one! I remember watching that when it first came out and bawling my eyes out when Shadow finally came up over the hill.
I mostly cry during happy parts (a notale exception being Armageddon, during the scene between the father and daughter). I also get teary eyed when I watch war movies and think about what soldiers went through to gain our freedom. The most recent movie that cried at was The Notebook- those of you who have seen it can probably guess where.

Yes, there are several. I agree with toadette about Shenandoah; too many family members die in that movie! And funk, I think nearly everyone cries in Old Yeller; I know I do! Like minkpenny, I’ve only seen Sophie’s Choice once (and read the book once also), but it made me cry. I also agree with minkpenny about The Green Mile and with ladymacb about Jakob the Liar. A lot of emotional movies!
Now here are some tearjerkers I’ll add to the list:
Penny Serenade: Cary Grant is cast against type in this film, but he’s great as a father who desperately wants a child with his wife, who is unable to conceive. I cry every time!
Waterloo Bridge: This movie stars Vivien Leigh in war-torn London during WWI. The last 30 minutes are what make me cry.
The Yearling: This movie reminds me a lot of Old Yeller (sniff). Gregory Peck is great in this film.
Ordinary People: This movie is incredible. Timothy Hutton is so sincere and believable, and Mary Tyler Moore is so icy. I cry throughout this one!
Dead Poets Society: I love the last scene in this movie: “O Captain, my Captain!” It brings those tears every time.
My Dog Skip: I have a Jack Russell Terrier, so the end of this movie made me cry on and on! It’s a sweet movie, but I just can’t handle the end.
The Patriot: This movie reminds me of Shenandoah, because a peaceful citizen is forced to enter the war when one of his family members is killed … then more of his family keeps getting killed! The scene with the burning church and all the people inside really affects me.

Let's see, the movies that I cried at: Return of the King~cried the most, last 10 min. when i was it the first time A Walk to Remember~the end got me Tuck Everlasting~again the end Homeward Bound~I have seen this movie a lot of times in my life and I just watched a couple of weeks ago again and I cried when shadow couldn't get out of the hole and then when he came running up the hill...even though I knew what was going to happen. I had never cried durin that movie before..hmmm...oh well. Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avenlee~ same as Homeward Bound..seen it before never cried but then did last time I watched it. Freaky Friday (the new one)~I went to see that with my mom in theaters and I cried at the end when they did their unselfish deed...when they were saying really nice things about each other...I couldn't help it, i was with my mom...and you know. Well I can't think of anymore at the moment and this is kind of long so I will be quiet now. frodobeh

Carousel - when the deceased wife-beating Billy is allowed 24 hours to return to earth from heaven, he attends his daughter's high school graduation. He is of course invisible to those around him. He kneels beside his wife to tell her how much he loves her and how he regrets what he did. He gently kisses her on the cheek, and she smiles as the school choir sings "You'll Never Walk Alone."
Damn, where's the Kleenex?

"I Am Sam" and "The Return of the King"- the last 10min like Frodobeh.
Also, the mini-series of "Jessica". The book was also sad and I'm glad they depicted it well on film.

To be honest, after the first hour of The Return of the King I was crying, and not in a good way . That movie was terrible. I know, I don't get it...its so much deeper...I don't understand...Look at the pretty colors ...I get it. I loved the first and second, but found that the third lacked direction, and I'm kind of getting bored of everything, especially the battle scenes. They look so fake. The movie just went on and on, kind of like I'm doing now. It glossed over a large part of the book, and left out the ending. And every...single...scene...had...deep...contemplative...introspective.......emotion. I honestly looked at my watch once every two minutes.

When someone first mentioned "Homeward Bound", I was fine. But then someone mentioned Shadow finally coming over the hill - yeah, I got misty-eyed...which means of course I wanted to immediately go watch it.
I'll cry at movies but not if I've already seen them. The tears will come on each viewing, they just won't fall.
Return of the King: I think I cried when Aragorn said the hobbits bowed to no one.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003): I cried when Andy asked Erin to "finish it", but I was also freaked out anyway.
Saving Private Ryan
Armageddon
The Believer: when the old Jewish man was telling about the Nazi who killed his 3 year old son, so sad.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: When he asked to keep "just this one"
The Green Mile: the most i've ever cried on a movie
I also cried on Heavenly Creatures(when they killed the mother) and The Messenger(the beginning,I didn't stick around for the rest) but that was because I was deeply disturbed. *shudder*

"Life Is Beautiful" did it for me. Well, there are others, I get choked up at lots of things, but that one really got to me.

I cry at loads of films. Here's my list (some have been mentioned already): - The Lion King
- The Green Mile
- Billy Elliot
- Beaches
- Patch Adams
- The Butterfly Effect
- Armageddon
I can't think of anymore right now, but I'm sure there is more!

Ohh, Dead Poets Society did it for me too. And I just thought of two other movies that make me cry every time I watch them: Terms of Endearment and Stepmom.

Oh yeah.. Stepmom made me cry too. I forgot about that one. I also cry at 'My Girl'. Even though I know what happens I still cry every time!
