I've been looking for this English television series on DVD or video for years. My mum used to love it. Was called Shelley or Shelly about some single english guy just struggling through day to day stuff. I assume it was a sitcom, but i dont recall laughing. Ive concluded it doesnt exist however. Sorry mum.

I want all the seasons of ER that there's been up to now. So far I only have season 2.
I also want 'A League of Their Own' on either DVD or Video, not fussy. I've never seen it in a shop yet and I've been looking for about 5 years. Might have to order it from Amazon.

I will always come up with more, but currently on my "to have" list are:
- Coupling, season 3
- Keeping Up Appearances box set
- Alias, all seasons
- Star Trek: TOS
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
If I had the money, I'd buy them all!

I am afraid to admit that I watched "Shelley" which starred Hywel Bennet and I loved "The Lovers" with Paula Wilcox and Richard Beckinsdale who tragically died very young. My all time favourite BBC sit com was "Just Good Friends" with Paul Nicholas and Jan Francis, not available on DVD,I keep asking ,the BBC keep saying no.Can we start a petition?

I've one BIG list of movies I want on DVD! F'rinstance:
A few Powell-Pressburger films, such as "Black Narcissus" and "Colonel Blimp" are on disc, but not my all-time favorite Archer film "A Matter Of Life and Death" (also known as "Stairway To Heaven" stateside). I really want to see it on disc! (and heck, throw in "Red Shoes"!)
Also, the 1940 "Thief of Bagdad", co-directed by Powell (another favorite of mine), the 1939 "Four Feathers", "The Magic Box" and the first St. Trinian's film with Alastair Sim, a howl in drag!
Too, I'd like a disc collection of Sir Alec Guiness' early work, especially "The Horse's Mouth", "The Man In the White Suit", the original "Ladykillers", the heartrending "Last Holiday" and his witty turn as Chesterton's Father Brown (oh, and "Captain's Paradise", "Lavender Hill Mob" and "Kind Hearts and Coronets"!)
Among film noirs I want are "Nightmare Alley", "Kiss Me Deadly", Siodmak's original "Killers" and "Criss Cross", "The Window" and "The Big Combo". And ESPECIALLY "White Heat"! I can't believe it's not on disc yet!
Also "The Naked Prey", "The Court Jester", the Mitchum films "Night of the Hunter" and "The Sundowners", and the restored version of Fuller's "The Big Red One". And a disc series of the old Betty Boop cartoons.
As for TV, give me a series of the old 60's Soupy Sales shows. I haven't seen them since I was a kid! And they've got to have at least one scene of Soupy doing "The Mouse"!!!

Wish they would release Raise the Red Lantern on DVD, as well as To Live.
Stuff that's already out I would want:
Toy Story 2 Princess Mononoke Psycho North by Northwest Before Sunrise In the Mood for Love Seven Samurai Wages of Fear Three Colors: Red Yojimbo Amadeus
And that's a small fraction of them...
For TV Shows, I hope they release the Kim Possible DVDs as soon as possible - that show is hilarious!
In addition to what's out there:
Samurai Jack Star Trek: The Next Generation The Simpsons Futurama Cowboy Bebop Trigun The Decalogue Boy Meets World Boomtown

I would like them to come out with "Get Smart" on DVD. I really liked that show.
Movies: Didn't really think of it, but "Wizard of Oz" (I'm not sure if it is on DVD yet or not, but I want it), and "Stay Tuned"

ktstew, the first 3 seasons of Nothern Exposure has been released on DVD.
kyleis, I've heard that because previous reality shows haven't done well on dvd, that AR may not ever be released. I'm with you, though. I would buy every season. With AR, it's not just who wins, it's the journey in getting to the last pitstop.
I'm waiting for Wings with the Hackett brothers to come out.

Since I first posted this thread, both "The Milagro Beanfield War" and "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies" have been released on dvd and into my collection.
"The President's Analyst" was another movie favorite finally released on dvd. I heard it was held up for years because of disputes over rights to songs featured in the film. Glad they ironed out those differences as it wouldn't have been the same without the great tunes that movie featured.
Season one of "Bewitched" will be released this summer. There will be both a b&w and colorized version of this season which was originally only released in black & white- which is how I want my copy. I can't wait for this, I always loved Elizabeth Montgomery.
Another favorite series, "Remington Steele", gets the dvd treatment this summer.
"Wings"- I agree with DieHard that it needs to be released.

I won't even start listing the movies, or I'll sit here for a week or so... As to TV shows, however, I would like... The Persuaders (old show starring Roger Moore and Tony Curtis; great success in Germany but not in English-speaking countries as far as I know) Lois & Clark (the Superman series starring Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher - but this will never come out on DVD, I fear....) Lost (most addictive show I've ever watched; halfway through season 1 here in Germany; you guys are way ahead of us, as usual) Dark Angel (didn`t even think the show was good, but once I got into it, I was hooked - and they stopped airing the re-runs halfway through season 1; I really wanna know how it ends!) X-Files (this is so far down on my list 'cause I have the whole show on video - but the English version plus the extras would be nice...) Buffy, Angel (see X-Files comment) I'd also like The Nanny although I've seen every single episode at least three times; it just never gets boring And then there's a few collector's boxes, such as the LOTR Extended Edition , Star Wars, Harry Potter movies... But all of this is wishful thinking, as I'm only a poor student
